Emerald Venom and Velvet Desires

The Slytherin common room was a subterranean cathedral of excess, transformed for the post-Quidditch victory gala into a den of shimmering silk and shadowed corners. Enchanted emerald lanterns drifted like slow-moving ghosts near the ceiling, casting a verdant, underwater glow over the throngs of students. The air was a heady, suffocating mix of expensive firewhisky, heavy floral perfumes, and the sharp, metallic tang of dark magic.

Tatiana Diggory stood at the center of the chaos, a dark queen presiding over her court. She wore a dress of black lace that clung to her curves like a second skin, the hem slit high enough to reveal the lace-top stockings she knew Tom hated and loved in equal measure. Her dark hair was a wild, fragrant mane, and her brown eyes were predatory as they tracked Tom Riddle across the room.

Tom was leaning against the mantelpiece, a glass of amber liquid in his hand, looking every bit the cold, untouchable aristocrat. But the way his knuckles whitened around the glass when Tatiana caught his gaze told a different story. He didn't just want her; he wanted to consume her.

"You’re staring, Tom," Tatiana purred as she glided toward him, her movements feline and deliberate. She came to a halt inches from his chest, the heat radiating from him like a furnace. "Is my dress too much for your delicate sensibilities?"

Tom set his glass down on the mantle with a sharp click. His hand moved with a blur of speed, snaking around her waist and hauling her flush against his hard frame. "Your dress is an invitation to a riot, Tatiana. And you know exactly what it does to me."

"Then do something about it," she challenged, her voice a low, honeyed drawl. She reached up, her fingers tangling in his perfectly coiffed hair, tugging just hard enough to make his eyes darken with a flash of raw fury. "Or are you all talk tonight?"

Tom’s response was a low growl that vibrated against her chest. He didn't care who was watching. He leaned down, his mouth crashing against hers in a kiss that was less an expression of affection and more a declaration of war. It was angry, spicy, and utterly dominant. Tatiana met him with equal fervor, her hands roaming over his shoulders, her nails digging into the expensive fabric of his robes. The common room blurred around them, the noise of the party fading into a dull hum as they succumbed to the dark, obsessive hunger that defined them.

In a velvet-draped alcove just a few feet away, Draco Malfoy was having a significantly harder time maintaining his composure. He had Ellee Weasley pinned against the stone wall, his hands braced on either side of her head. Ellee looked breathtaking—and entirely out of her element—in a shimmering gold dress that Draco had "suggested" she wear. Her ginger hair was a fiery contrast to the green light, and her shy, quirky smile was driving him to the brink of insanity.

"You’re doing it again, Weasley," Draco hissed, his blue eyes burning with a mixture of irritation and lust.

Ellee tilted her head, her glasses sliding slightly down her nose. "Doing what, Draco? Existing? Breathing? Being better at Ancient Runes than you?"

"Being a distraction," he muttered, his gaze dropping to the swell of her breasts. "I’m supposed to be networking. I’m supposed to be the Malfoy heir. And all I can think about is how much I want to hear you scream my name."

Ellee’s face turned a brilliant shade of pink, but she didn't look away. Instead, she reached out, her small, ink-stained hand sliding into his shirt, her palm resting over his racing heart. "Then stop thinking, Draco. For once in your life, just do what you want."

The "grumpy" Malfoy didn't need to be told twice. He let out a frustrated groan and captured her lips, his kiss surprisingly sweet before it turned into something much more spicy. He pulled her onto his lap as he sat on the velvet bench, his hands wandering with a possessive urgency. Ellee, the "sunshine" girl, blossomed under his touch, her shyness melting away into a bold, introverted passion that left Draco breathless. They were academic rivals in the light, but in the shadows of the Slytherin party, they were something far more dangerous.

While Draco and Ellee were lost in their intellectual-turned-physical battle, Avrie Malfoy was being her usual nonchalant, icy self—at least on the outside. She was leaning against a cold stone pillar, a glass of chilled wine in her hand, her long blonde hair shimmering like a waterfall of ice.

Theodore Nott stood in front of her, his expression rude and dismissive to anyone who dared to look their way. But his eyes, when they landed on Avrie, were filled with a manic, "freaky" devotion.

"You look bored, Avrie," Theo said, his voice a rough whisper.

"I am bored, Theo," she replied, her blue eyes seeing right through him. "The music is too loud, the people are too stupid, and I’m tired of waiting for you to stop acting like a child and take what you want."

Theo’s jaw tightened. He reached out, his hand sliding into her hair and gripping it firmly, forcing her to look up at him. "You think I’m playing, Avrie? You think this is a game to me?"

"I think you’re scared of how much you want me," she countered, her voice cool and steady even as her pulse thundered.

Theo didn't answer with words. He grabbed her hand and pulled her toward the dark corridor that led to the private dormitories. He didn't care about the party; he only cared about the girl who was as cold and distant as the moon. Once they were in the shadows, he pressed her against the wall, his touch frantic and uninhibited. Avrie met him with a silent, intense passion, her icy exterior shattering under the heat of his obsession. They were the "freaky" pair, the ones who didn't need words to communicate the dark, twisted love they shared.

Near the drinks table, the "couple goals" pair was holding court, though they seemed more interested in each other than the crowd. Tristin Parkinson was laughing, her long brown hair bouncing as she leaned against Cedric Diggory. She looked stunning in a deep hazel dress that matched her eyes, her smart, funny personality drawing people in like moths to a flame.

"I’m telling you, Ced, if you don't dance with me in the next five minutes, I’m going to find a Durmstrang boy to do it," Tristin teased, poking his chest.

Cedric laughed, his arm wrapping around her waist and pulling her close. He was the golden boy, the hero, but with Tristin, he was just a man who was utterly and completely hers. "I’d like to see him try, Tris. I’m a Hufflepuff; we’re very loyal. And very protective."

"Is that a threat?" she asked, her eyes sparkling with mischief.

"It’s a promise," Cedric whispered, his voice dropping an octave. He leaned down, his lips brushing hers in a way that made the spicy energy between them flare up. They had been together since first year, their bond unbreakable, but the passion between them had only grown stronger with time.

They moved to the dance floor, but they weren't really dancing. They were swaying, their bodies pressed together, their hands wandering in ways that suggested they wouldn't be staying at the party for much longer. They were the rock everyone else leaned on, but behind closed doors, they were as spicy as they come.

In a corner of the room that was almost entirely dark, a new storm was brewing. Amelia Diggory, the secret fire of her family, was currently engaged in a very public, very spicy confrontation with Harry Potter. Harry had his glasses off, his green eyes burning with a raw, uninhibited hunger that the rest of the world never saw.

"You think you’re so brave, Potter," Amelia whispered, her blonde hair messy and her blue eyes dark with desire. She had him pinned against a stone archway, her hands busy unbuttoning his vest. "Let’s see how brave you are when there’s no audience."

Harry’s hands were on her hips, pulling her into him with a strength that suggested he was done playing the hero. "I don't need an audience, Amelia. I just need you."

They were the "freaky" couple, the ones who didn't care about the rules or the expectations. Harry was the Savior, but with Amelia, he was just a man who wanted to lose himself in the heat of the moment. They moved together with a frantic, desperate energy, their kisses tasting of firewhisky and forbidden fruit.

As the party reached its peak, the four girls—Tatiana, Ellee, Avrie, and Tristin—found themselves momentarily reunited near the center of the room. They looked at each other, their faces flushed, their hair messy, and their eyes bright with the thrill of the night.

"Having fun?" Tatiana asked, her voice a low, dominant purr.

"Exhausted," Ellee squeaked, though she was smiling.

"Bored," Avrie lied, though the red marks on her neck told a different story.

"Blessed," Tristin joked, leaning against Cedric, who had followed her over.

The boys—Tom, Draco, Theo, and Cedric—stood behind them, a formidable wall of possessive energy. They were different in every way, but they were bound by the women who had captured their hearts and their souls.

"We should go," Tom said, his voice a dark command that brooked no argument. His hand was firmly on Tatiana’s waist, his fingers digging into her skin.

"I agree," Draco muttered, his gaze fixed on Ellee.

"Finally," Theo added, his eyes never leaving Avrie.

Cedric just nodded, his arm tightening around Tristin.

They left the party together, a procession of light and shadow, heading toward the private sanctuaries they had claimed as their own. The Slytherin common room continued to roar with noise and magic, but for these eight, the night was just beginning.

Tatiana and Tom reached his private study, the door clicking shut with a finality that made Tatiana’s heart race. Tom didn't waste any time. He threw his cloak aside and pulled her into his arms, his kiss a desperate, spicy thing that left her reeling.

"You’re mine, Tatiana," he whispered against her lips. "In this room, and every room after."

"I know," she replied, her voice a low, dominant challenge. "Now prove it."

In the Malfoy dormitory, Draco had Ellee on the bed, his hands moving with a sweet, grumpy urgency. "I hate how much I love you, Weasley," he muttered.

Ellee laughed, pulling him down for another kiss. "I know, Draco. It’s your best quality."

In the secluded alcove of the Nott manor (which Theo had snuck them into via a secret Floo), Theo and Avrie were lost in a "freaky," nonchalant embrace that was anything but cold.

And in the secret room near the kitchens, Tristin and Cedric were proving why they were "couple goals," their love a spicy, synchronized dance that had been perfected over years of devotion.

As the sun began to rise over the castle, the four couples remained together, their lives intertwined in a way that no war or darkness could ever break. They were the heirs of Hogwarts, and they had found something far more powerful than magic—they had found each other. The drama would continue, the spice would burn, and the love would remain, a constant flame in a world of shifting shadows. Tatiana, Tom, Ellee, Draco, Avrie, Theo, Tristin, and Cedric—they were exactly where they were meant to be. Together. Always.
