The Blue Light of Temptation
The hum of the scout ship’s engines was usually a source of comfort for Arkillo, a rhythmic reminder of the cold, logical vacuum of space. But today, the hum felt like a taunt. The Great Hunger had been quelled by Saint Walker’s unexpected mercy, but the aftermath had left the massive Vuldarian in a state of hyper-awareness. Every shift in the ship’s air filtration, every flicker of the console lights, and especially every movement from the cockpit felt amplified a thousandfold.
Arkillo had managed to find a spare pair of tactical trousers, though they strained against his thick thighs. He sat in the common area, ostensibly sharpening a physical blade—a habit from his youth that helped center his mind—when he heard the soft chime of the living quarters door.
He expected Saint Walker to emerge in his usual Blue Lantern uniform, the modest white and blue fabric that symbolized his monastic devotion to hope. Instead, the figure that stepped into the corridor made Arkillo’s breath hitch so sharply it felt like a punch to the solar plexus.
Walker hadn't just kept the "disguise" from the mission; he had modified it. The shimmering silks were gone, replaced by something far more deliberate. He wore a set of intricate, gossamer-thin straps of midnight blue lace that crisscrossed his lithe, cerulean torso. It was less a garment and more a map of his anatomy, highlighting the elegant curve of his ribs and the smooth, hairless expanse of his chest. A delicate thong, barely more than a string of silver beads and silk, sat low on his hips, leaving his rounded, firm backside almost entirely exposed.
Arkillo’s jaw dropped. A string of thick, viscous saliva pooled in the back of his throat. "Walker," he rumbled, his voice sounding like grinding stones. "What... what is the meaning of this? We are in transit."
The Blue Lantern turned, a playful, almost feline grace in his movements. He didn't look ashamed; he looked radiant. He began to pace the length of the narrow corridor, his hips swaying with a deliberate, rhythmic tilt that drew Arkillo’s eyes to the sapphire skin of his rear.
"The mission was taxing, Arkillo," Walker said, his voice a melodic purr that lacked its usual stoic reserve. "I found that the restrictive nature of my uniform was... inhibiting my recovery. This attire allows the light of my soul to breathe more freely. Do you find it distracting?"
Arkillo’s eyes tracked the way the silver beads of the thong caught the light as Walker reached up to adjust a vent, stretching his body and accentuating the long, lean muscles of his back. The sight of those blue, perfectly shaped cheeks clenching with the movement made Arkillo’s vision swim with yellow sparks.
"Distracting?" Arkillo growled, his hands trembling as he gripped the hilt of his blade. "It is a provocation. You are a priest of hope, not a... a concubine."
Walker let out a soft, airy laugh and turned around, leaning his lower back against the bulkhead. He hooked his thumbs into the lace straps at his hips, pulling them slightly outward. "Hope takes many forms, my friend. Is it not hopeful to find beauty in the body? To celebrate the vessel that carries our spirits through the stars?"
He began to walk toward Arkillo, his bare feet making no sound on the metal plating. Every step was a calculated assault on Arkillo’s senses. The scent of ozone and rain was back, but now it was mixed with the heat of Walker’s skin.
"You are staring, Arkillo," Walker whispered, stopping just inches from the massive yellow giant. He leaned in, his glowing eyes searching Arkillo’s fierce, scarred face. "I can hear your heart again. It is louder than before. Is the 'Hunger' truly gone, or did I merely give you a taste of what you truly desire?"
Arkillo felt the familiar heat rising in his gut, but this wasn't the frantic, uncontrollable madness of the biological cycle. This was something deeper—a burning, possessive lust for the creature standing before him. He reached out, his massive, clawed hand hovering just over Walker’s hip.
"You are playing a dangerous game, little monk," Arkillo hissed, his fangs bared in a grin that was half-threat, half-ecstasy.
"I have no fear," Walker replied, his hand coming up to rest on Arkillo’s chest, right over his thudding heart. "For I know that beneath that armor and rage, there is a soul that craves tenderness as much as it craves battle."
Walker turned slowly, presenting his back to Arkillo once more. He bent forward slightly, resting his hands on the table where Arkillo had been working. The position thrust his blue, rounded backside directly into Arkillo’s line of sight. The sheer audacity of the pose, the vulnerability of it, broke the last of Arkillo’s restraint.
Arkillo lunged forward, his large hands grabbing Walker’s waist with a firm, possessive grip. He groaned as his face met the cool, smooth skin of Walker’s rear. He breathed in deeply, the scent of the Blue Lantern overwhelming his senses.
"You want this?" Arkillo rasped against the blue flesh. "You want the beast to claim you?"
"I want the beast to find peace," Walker whispered, his head lolling forward as he felt Arkillo’s hot breath against his skin. "I want you to take what you need."
Arkillo didn't need to be told twice. He began to trail his tongue along the crease of Walker’s buttocks, the contrast of his rough, sandpaper-like tongue against the velvet smoothness of the Blue Lantern’s skin causing Walker to let out a sharp, surprised gasp.
"Arkillo..." Walker moaned, his fingers clutching the edge of the metal table.
The Vuldarian was relentless. He used his teeth to gently nip at the firm flesh, marking the blue skin with faint, pale indentations before soothing them with long, wet strokes of his tongue. He was tasting him, devouring him with a primal hunger that had nothing to do with biology and everything to do with the man in his arms.
Arkillo’s hands slid down, cupping the weight of Walker’s backside, squeezing and kneading the supple muscles. He felt the Blue Lantern trembling, the soft luminescence of his skin pulsing in time with his quickening breaths.
"So soft," Arkillo muttered, his voice thick with lust. "Like silk and starlight. I could eat you whole."
He moved his head lower, his tongue seeking the sensitive heat between those blue cheeks. Walker cried out, a high, melodic sound that echoed through the ship. His knees buckled, and Arkillo had to hold him up, his massive arms acting as a vice that kept Walker pinned in place.
"Do not stop," Walker pleaded, his usual composure completely shattered. "Please, Arkillo... more."
Arkillo obeyed, his tongue working with a rhythmic, forceful grace. He explored every inch of the blue alien’s lower half, his large nose buried in the cleft of Walker’s backside. He was drooling now, the thick moisture coating Walker’s skin, making it shimmer even more brightly under the ship’s lights.
The power dynamic had shifted completely. The fierce warrior of the Sinestro Corps was on his knees, serving the Blue Lantern in a way that was both debasing and profoundly intimate. Arkillo didn't care about his pride or his rank. In this moment, there was only the taste of blue skin and the sound of Walker’s desperate, hopeful moans.
"You are mine," Arkillo growled, pulling back for a moment to look at the masterpiece he had created. Walker’s backside was flushed a deep, bruised violet, glistening with Arkillo’s saliva. "Do you understand, Walker? You belong to the fear now."
Walker turned his head, his face flushed, a stray tear of pleasure tracking down his cheek. He reached back, his fingers tangling in Arkillo’s hair. "And you... you belong to the hope. We are one, Arkillo. Fear and hope... balanced in the dark."
Arkillo stood up, his massive frame towering over the trembling monk. He reached for the waistband of his trousers, his eyes locked onto Walker’s.
"Then let us find that balance," Arkillo said, his voice a low, predatory rumble. "Until the stars burn out."
As the scout ship hurtled through the silent void, the interior was filled with a different kind of light—a flickering, chaotic dance of yellow and blue, and the sounds of two souls finally finding a language they both understood. In the heart of the machine, far from the eyes of their respective Corps, the beast and the saint became something new, forged in the heat of a hunger that would never truly be satisfied.
