Okay, so, new story idea where the setting of the story is an army training camp, where basically rows and rows of soldiers, there's like a whole, there's a squad of soldiers, like I believe there are 15 in rows of five, and each, like, it's 15 soldiers, and they're in groups of five. So three groups, three squads, and they're 15 in total. I do not know proper military names, insignia, etc., so I'm just gonna give random names, and you correct them to proper military names. So there are 15, about 15 soldiers who are in formation of rank, five, five, five, each five being one team of soldiers, and they're standing to attention in front of an older man who's like, they're like high-level. And every one of those soldiers, like the three teams, they were picked from like different places and different departments, and each soldier was handpicked because of the qualities he or she have. And the older man, their superior, called them in because he needs like specialists in the field, like the best specialists out there. And each of the soldiers have done like many years in the army, and they have like already like a lot of, like they have a lot of like important things that they're active and they already did a lot of things in the army and for the army. They already have like a pretty good rank, and so their ranks are good and everything. And so this older man arrives, and basically he, the soldiers arrive at like this building facility, which is like very, very securitized, very private, and they see all of the security. And so it's three vans with one squad of five in each van arriving at the facility. And we are following the people in the first van, and so it's four guys and one girl. And they were picked like from different divisions and stuff, but they still know each other, and like they're just like catching up in the van because they just learned that they're gonna be together for whatever squad mission this is. Just talking it up, and like they're looking like there's a lot of security and stuff, and they don't know where they're coming, and all of their orders or summons or whatever just said like to come and no questions asked, basically. So they arrive, they get out of the van, they realize that there are two other vans with five other people in each van coming out, and they all like talk to each other, recognize some people, take a minute to catch up, and then the 15 of them make their way to like this like hangar where like they see planes in it and like somebody's waiting for them, and then they see like the older man who is like a high-ranked superior, and they snap to attention and they make like lines. And so the older man starts explaining something about an intelligence service they're gonna have to do, and that he was given strict orders by even higher up from him. And basically they were chosen for their capabilities for a very secretive thing. And he starts explaining, you can choose, you have free reign on what the secretive thing is, but the gray man, he, the officer explaining that, he has to explain in detail what this mission is or what these missions are, but you have free reign on what the mission is. And so in the middle of explaining the mission, there's like this sound that goes beep beep beep beep, and it's an alarm, and then he looks up and he looks kind of stressed, and then suddenly like a lot of like there's movement on the side where soldiers and people who are managing the planes and security guards, like they start moving quickly because they recognize the alarm. And then suddenly there's a voice that goes through the speakers, and it says, calm down, you lot. I'm breaking in, not out. Like, she's, like the voice says that she's coming back in, not breaking out, so simmer down. And then the voice on the intercom stops and goes, that came out badly, didn't it? Anyways, just give me five sec, yeah? The intercom disconnects, and like there's a lot of frantic with the IT crews that they see because how the hell did somebody hack the intercom? And then suddenly there's like pipelines that are, the vents above them start clinking and clunking, and a vent trap falls off from above them. And then a girl's head pops in, and the girl jumps down, and it's like a very high jump from the ceiling vent of the hangar to the ground, but it doesn't really seem to affect her. She jumps, tucks and rolls, and lands, and then pulls herself up. She's between the soldiers and the sergeant or whatever his rank is explaining the things. She looks around to be, she's about 17. She's got short curls up to her chin with blue, cerulean blue highlights. She's wearing dark blue cargo pants, and she has a belt with a weird set of like plants, different types of plants attached to it, and different types of vials with like creams and pastes and potion-like things in those vials attached to the belt. She also has two daggers strapped to the side and a set of shuriken stars. Like, not really normal army attire. Then she's wearing a dark blue tank top which lets her stomach and arms bare because it's a dark blue sleeveless tank top. And it lets her arms bare so that everyone can see that she has scars, raised scars across her arms and neck and stomach. And crisscrossing with those scars are tattoos of vines and thorns, and the vines and thorns are mixing with different runes, words in languages they don't recognize, moon, crescent moon, stars, suns, a fire, dragons going up the column of her neck, wolves howling in the night on her neck, poisonous flowers like belladonna and wisteria going on her arms amidst the scars. The girl stands up and she looks around, and then she looks at the old man. I'm just gonna call him old man because I don't really know his rank. And she calls him by his name. She goes, his name is Whitefield.by, he, she calls him by his name. And so she looks at him and she goes, Whitefield. He looks at her and goes, Melusine. She looks at him and she goes, the hell you've been doing? And all the soldiers, they stiffen because who is talking to their superior like that? But like, they do not break rank because, well, they don't have any orders to break rank or anything. Then she points a finger at them from, like, over her back and goes, that them. And Whitefield goes, yes. She goes, who picked them? And then Whitefield goes, honestly, I have no idea. They come from above. And Melusine looks at him, like, really looks at him, and gives him, like, this major side eye. And Whitefield answers, Clarkson. And Melusine grunts and she says, ugh, of course it's Clarkson. Why am I not surprised? Then she takes out, then, like, there's an IT crew that's running. And, like, they're like, they call Whitefield by his rank. And they're like, no, no, no, no, Whitefield, no, no, Whitefield. There, like, been a breach, and somebody went on the intercom, and then they stop, and they go, oh. Who are you? And Melusine looks at them, and she goes, oh, me? Me, I'm, oh, what do you people call me? I believe you know me under the name Altair. And then the IT crew is like, they stop immediately. They look at her, they look her up and down, and they say, you're Altair. And she goes, yes. I believe that is the name you know me by. And they're like, of course we know you by. Wow, just wow. And she just smiles ruefully, and she's like, yeah. Sorry for the intercoms. I was pretty mad. I am still mad, actually, but not at you. And the IT's like, yeah, no worries. And they just leave. And so the soldiers are, like, even more puzzled because, uh, the hell is this girl? And then she takes out her phone from, like, one of the pockets of her cargo pants. And she dials a number, and then she rings once, twice, and then somebody on the other side answers. And she looks at everyone, and then she puts the phone on speaker. And then proceeds to say, she goes, pronto. And the person on the other side goes, who is this? And then she replies, this is Melusine. And he goes, oh. And she goes, yeah, oh, asshole. And the person on the other side is Clarkson, who is, like, a really, really, really, really, really, really high-ranked officer. And she just talks at him, and then, uh, before Clarkson can even say a word, she starts swearing, but, like, really swearing, like a sailor. And even the soldiers are impressed by the range and variety and creativity of her swearing. After she finishes swearing, she doesn't even stop, and then tells him, I have spent half of my life trying to take them down. I have successfully taken them down. I have saved 50 kids single-handedly while bleeding out. And while, I might add, you and your people and your little pathetic government and army agencies did nothing to help me. Because obviously, me bleeding, crying on the floor, almost dying, I was a spy. Yeah, great call, people. I saved 50 kids that day. And then you convinced me that they'd be best in a safe house, in a special offshore army-linked safe house. But let me ask you this. Where are those 50 kids now? 50 kids, ages 2 to 18, abused, traumatized. They were supposed to be in the safe house, their new home. They were supposed to be happy there, or at least safe, until I could get to them, until I was healed. I spent two months in the hospital. I go out of hospital, first thing I learn, what is it? 50 kids have been kidnapped, safe house bombed. How do you explain that? And she starts ranting and yelling at him. And before, uh, the, like, Clark, uh, Field or whatever his name is can end the call or even put in a run, she says, this is the last time. I am giving you one chance with these people. She gestures to, like, the soldiers vaguely. Because they are not you. And I actually like the look of the five first. And the five first she's talking about are the five first in line. And they are the five, uh, people, so the four boys and the one woman who were in the first van and whose POV we follow. And then she says, I wish you the day you deserve, you miserable twat. And she hangs up. She looks around and goes, I should probably explain, right? And then Whitefield just sighs and goes, yes. And he looks at the soldiers, and Melusine's like, ahem, at him. Melusine goes, ahem, at him. And he goes, oh, right. He's at ease. And, uh, the soldiers immediately deflate, and the Melusine just sits down. And the soldiers sit down on chairs that were next to them. And then Melusine starts explaining, basically, a few things. And she basically says that three crews, five will be on the first mission Whitefield described, five will be on the second mission Whitefield described, the crew of the first van, the crew whose POV we follow, the first crew, the first five, they will be with her. And then she steps out and she says, come on. And so the five, like, with a nod of Whitefield, they follow her, and she leads them out and out of the perimeter to the forest. And without even talking, she just goes into the forest, trudges through, and leads them to, like, this clearing in the forest. And she sits down on the grass and, like, gestures for them to sit, and then says, so, I'm gonna give you an explanation. Not a full one, but enough for you to know what you're getting yourselves into. Know that you can stop me at any time and ask any questions. And she proceeds to give a full explanation. You have free reign on this. And you have free reign on most of the conversation, uh, names too. And basically, like, any army-signee ranks you have.
