New story idea, a gala hosted for the premiere of a movie. Many actors are there, as well as other influential personalities such as a world famous singer (from colombia), María Noe-Santángel, there with her two sons (aged 11 named Sasha and 15 named Milan), other influential artists as well as many famous actors there with their spouses. The press is also there though since this is a verry important event they are more discreet and are less invasive then usuall, which, all the celebreties present agree is a benediction from their usuall harrasment and is a welcome change though they do not say that to the press's face directly. Pov switches towards a couple, they are the stars of the new movie : Chaylen Morgan, 27 and Albert Hussain , 28. Through their time on set, they actually fell in love and are now engaged ( which is something almost every reporter has tried to bring up and interrogate them on ). They see across the room certain of their actor friends whom they go greet. They also notice their good freind María greeting other guests,María is the one who made the songs for their movie.But as they move to greet her, they realise that they have to sit down because the time of the speeches has started . The first person to take the mic is the director of the film whose name is Osin O'Davoren he starts talking about the movie they made ect... and Chaylen, Albert and María share a half smile across the room because they perfectly well know that half the room does not understand half of what Osin says because of his thick irish accent. Even the reporters are puzzeled, but nonethless, that doesn't make Osin any less of a great director, the man can still tell a story. At the end of his speach, he sets the mic down and goes to his table when a man enters the room through the side door. A group of black clad tactical gear men follow him. Immediately everyone stiffens, puzzeled. Osin turns and sees them arrive. He asks "Who are you, what is the meaning of this?" The men in tactical dont answer him, they make a semicircle arround the room's walls. The first man goes on the stage and explains : His name is Alex Dutertre and he is the head of the Anti-Death Threats Unit. He explains that a few hours ago, warrants for the deaths of specific people have been issiued by various heads of the criminal underworld. Their sources say that the people with a price on their heads are : María, Sasha and Milan Noe-Santángel,Chaylen Morgan and Albert Hussain. And everyone is stunned and Maria breaks the silence and asks what the hell is happening?Alex looks at her sadly and explains that he does not want to give any more information in front of people who this does not concern directly, but they are currently waiting for their team, their IT team, to confirm the threats and to confirm whether it is safe for his unit to extract them. And Maria asks, why my sons too? What is this? Why? And Alex answers, like I said, we are waiting for the IT confirmation, and we will explain everything later. For now, we need you to sit tight for five minutes. When I get the green, I will bring you away to a safe house. And before Austin and Albert and Shaylin can try to talk to him too, the doors, this time, the front double doors, open in a big, big slam. And all eyes turn towards the girl who entered. She is about 16. She has curly brown hair until her neck with cerulean blue highlights. Her hair is tied into a messy bun on the top of her head. And the bun is held by two silver needles. She is wearing a dark blue tank top that lets her arms and stomach bare. And on her arms and stomach, everyone like draws in a shocked breath because they see that she has scars, a lot of them, raised scars, jagged scars on her arms and on her neck and on her stomach going up. And in between the scars, interwoven with the scars, there are tattoos. Tattoos of wolves and dragons breathing fire up the column of her neck, of roses and poisonous plants, of belladonna and hemlock, and wisteria around her wrists, and vines climbing up and turning into thorns, and intricate tattoos all across her arms and stomach and navel. She is wearing a dark set of cargo pants and platform boots. She is wearing a belt that has two daggers strapped to it, along with a set of plants, dried plants, and little vials holding different colored liquids and different colored pastes dangling from the belt. She has black khol that is rimming her eyes, and she wears a dark blue and purple cape on her shoulders that falls until her feet. Alex, still on the stage, is shocked to see her, and he says, Melusine? The girl, whose name is Melusine, does not acknowledge any of the reporters or any of the guests who are stunned. She simply walks towards Alex and says, Who else, idiot? And Alex is taken aback, and he goes, What? And Melusine, by the time Alex seems to have regained his spirits, she is on the stage next to him, and she advances and she slaps him across the face. Immediately, the tactical people in the black tactical gear who are standing guard on the perimeter of the room immediately draw their firearms and point them towards Melusine. And Melusine turns around calmly and goes, Please. You really don't want to do this. Guns down now. And she's just not scared. And then Alex, who is still like shocked and holding his cheek, he goes, he gestures for the guards to put their guns away. And they seem hesitant, but they put their guns away. And Alex turns towards Melusine, and melusine gestures towards the guards and lift an eyebrow and alex replies im the head of the anti death threat unit, got prompted 3 months ago, melusine lifts the other eyebrow and says : stupid name . and before alex even has the chance to speak, Melusine says, Shut up. I'm taking this whole thing. And Alex goes, What? And she goes, Yes. Why am I? And Alex asks, What do you mean you're taking over this? You're what? And Melusine looks at him, and she gives him a deadpan stare and says, You don't have half the intel, yes? You can do whatever you want to do. I'm taking those five, saying that she gestures towards Maria, Sasha, and Milan, and towards Albert and Shaylin. And then Shaylin stands up and she goes, What is happening? Who are you? And she points towards Melusine, and Melusine looks at her. She goes, and her face seems to soften a bit, and she goes, My name is Melusine. Or at least that's what you can call me today. As for who I am, I am a freelancer, would be the most adequate way to describe me. And I'm here because, well, let's say I don't stand for innocents being killed. And also the way Alex has handled this whole thing is very good, but still, no. Or something along those lines or whatever. And Alex turns around and he goes, Excuse me? I've handled this perfectly well. And then Melusine turns around back to him and says, There are children here. She vaguely gestures towards Sasha and Milan, and also towards a few younger kids who have accompanied their actor parents who are sitting with their parents. There are children, she continues. And then nobody really seems to understand that, but Nala, Melusine's hand drifts toward a tattoo on her elbow, and it's a tattoo of a rose, like a blood red rose. And then Alex's eyes track her fingers, track the tattoo, and they widen, and they say, and they just widen. And Alex just takes a step forward, and to everyone's surprise, he hugs Melusine. And Melusine sighs, hugs him back, and she says, Took you long enough. He says, I'm sorry, I didn't. And Melusine pats him on the shoulder and goes, It's fine. Yeah. Then she turns towards everyone else and she goes, Since Alex refused to explain certain things, she gives him a side eye, I'm going to explain them now. Like he said, you have been, you, she gestures towards the five targets, are targets of different organizations, different organizations of the underworld, so mafia, mobs, and clans. The reason you are targets when you haven't done anything is because, and then she gestures to, and then she stops and points towards one of the reporters who was furiously scribbling on a notepad. And she goes, Oi, news vulture. The reporter looks up and she goes, Note what I'm going to say correctly. It's going to piss them off, but it's going to be fun. Or like she says like, Note what I say correctly. I want to piss them off. Or is going to piss them off, or something like that. Then she turns back towards the room and says, The heads of the various clans and mobs of the underworld are ruthless people who have clawed their way up. They are not good people, or at least not by the social definition of good. But they are ruthless, and they have earned their way to the top. Now, their children are not the same. Their children are little brats who consider that they should own the world, that spend all of their days on the internet watching brain rot videos and yelling six, seven, and tralalero tralala or whatever.Random strangers on the street. When your movie, she gestures towards the backdrop of the stage where you can see the movie poster behind her, came out, they were extremely mad, mad at many people, but first of all, they were mad at you two, she gestures towards the stars of the movie, Albert and Shaylin, and says they were mad at you two because namely one kid decided that Albert, your character, should die, and that Shaylin, your character, should live her love life with the main villain. Seeing as that did not happen, said brat wailed and wailed and went to see his parents and then took out, made an epic tantrum, and now the parents, to make their child not have a tantrum anymore, decided that they would kill you and put a warrant on your head. And you, she gestures towards Maria, a different kid, don't worry, not the same kid, a different kid is mad at you because one of the songs you put in the movie is fully in Spanish. Said kid is six and does not understand Spanish at all, and considers the fact that he can't understand a song a front to his family, his name, and his self. So, same thing, tantrum, and parents to calm the child down, or rather to calm the brat down, decided that they'd issue a warrant on your head and try to kill you. And in front of like the bemused looks of everyone, she goes, yes, I know. Parenting techniques level zero, but, you know, she goes, yes, I know. Dictiques parentales éclatées au sous-sol, mais bon. And then suddenly there's a clink, clang, clink, clang coming from above them, and the great chandelier that is above the room suddenly starts to groan, and it twists. And it twists and twists and twists and opens, and under the chandelier there is a great hole. And out of that hole in the ceiling, there's a head that comes out, and it's the head of an eight-year-old girl with long, messy blonde hair, poking her head out and saying, hey, Mels! And Melusine looks at the girl, sighs, and says, Luna, down now. The eight-year-old, whose name is Luna, says, ick. And she looks down, and under her is like a 20-foot jump, and under her there's a table. There is the table where Albert and Shaylin are sitting, and she gestures for them to move away. And so they stand up and they move away. And Luna jumps and lands in a neat tuck and roll. And then, like, everyone's surprised because, like, she's eight or whatever. And she stands up and makes her way towards the stage, climbs up the stage, and says, and Melusine gives her, like, an icy stare, and she says, where were you? Luna goes, um, fireworks. Melusine sighs, and she says, yes, I fucking know you were with the fireworks. I have perfectly functional eyes, thank you. My question is, how are you half a city away? And Luna answers, I took the pipelines. Melusine sighs, pinches the bridge of her nose, and goes, how many times have we gone over the pipelines? And Luna says, 25. And Melusine says, and what have we said about the pipelines? And Luna goes, not to use them. Why, Melusine asks. Because they're too easy, and I should only use them if I'm in danger of death, goes Luna. Melusine goes, yes! And then Luna goes, but I... And basically Luna says, Mom, that's not fair. And Melusine turns and she goes, why is that not fair, moonbeam? And Luna says, Luna looks at the people around her, and then at Melusine in the back of the people around her, and then she seems to choose her words very carefully, and she goes, Valkyrie, vulture, turtle, blue, police, vulture again, flowers, trees, pineapple. And Melusine's eyes widen, and she bleaches, and she goes, you sure? And Luna says, yeah, Mom, I'm sure. So Melusine sighs and she whispers something in Alex's ear, and Alex nods, and he steps forward and he says, okay, everyone. We are deeply sorry for the commotion. Please know that all of you who are not the five we have mentioned, you're safe. And yeah, I would stay here and give you a bit more of an explanation. Melusine and Luna here, he gestures towards Melusine and Luna, will leave with the five. And so Melusine jumps off the stage, Luna follows her, and they walk towards the door, and Melusine turns halfway and she's like, come! And very, very hesitantly, the five of them stand up and start following her. And as soon as they approach the door, the doors open up in a big bang, and there is a man and, like, his crew, and the man has, like, a little scars, and then he says, he's holding, like, a knife to Melusine's face. and he asks "whats ur favourite scary movie" And immediately all of the people, all of the guards with the guns, they point their guns at the intruders. And then Melusine raises her hands and says, quiet! Because everybody was panicking and all the actors were panicking and everything. She yells, quiet! Suddenly there's quiet, everyone, everyone quiets. And,gave the intruder a stare, and then her eyes drift towards the knife hold at her face, and she yells so hard, it makes people jump, and she goes, ah! She yells so hard, and it even makes the intruder jump because she yelled so loud. And then she elbows him, and he steps back, and then she grabs the knife and she goes, give me this. And she grabs it like if it's some toxic waste. She goes, alla ma, aia, die. And then like she starts muttering in rapid Italian. And then she takes one of the needles that are in her hair, takes it out, and starts sharpening the knife right then and there in front of everyone, in front of the mafia intruders, starts sharpening the knife. And then while she's sharpening, she turns towards the intruder who held the knife at her throat, and she goes, was your favorite scary movie? In like an exaggerated Italian accent. And she points at, she shows, she waves the knife in the air, and she goes, this knife, this knife is a scary movie. Then she puts her hands up in the air, and she says, dull knife, the movie. Die. And then she starts muttering again in Italian, starting insulting the knife and how it is so dull. And she starts sharpening the knife again. And when she finishes sharpening the knife, she tests it with her thumb, puts the needle back in her hair, and gives the knife back to the mafia guy saying, ecco, now it's sharpened and you can attack people properly, idiot. And the mafia guy is like, lost, and everybody is lost because what the hell just happened? And also like the five, Maria looks at her two children, Sasha and Milan, and they're, Sasha and Milan are like whispering between each other because they're like, she's barely older than us and she talked and said that we were children. And there's this guy who almost wanted to kill her, he put a knife at her face, and she was scared of the fact that the knife was dull. She sharpened it and gave the knife back. and luna calls her mom ect.... And then the mafia guy and his crew like draw guns and they put guns at Maria and Sasha and Milan's face and guns at Albert and the girl star's face too. And they're like, and then Melusine raises her hands up in a mock I'll surrender gesture, and she goes, please, these people are under my protection. And the mafia guy whom she sharpened the knife asks, and who are you? And Melusine tilts her head and goes, please, I do suppose you know me under the name The Raven. And every single mafia person blanches, and they're like, you're The Raven? And Melusine lifts her hair up, and they can see a raven tattoo near her ear. And they all blanch and they go, and she goes, yep. So, do you still want to try to kill my wards? And they're like, no, no, no. And then they leave the scene. And she says, good. And then she gestures for the five, her five new wards to follow her. She's like, come on, let's go. And they follow her, and they're all still muttering questions. So Maria talks with Albert and Chaylen while they follow Melusine and with the other girl star, about Melusine and her character and that this whole weird, and they all just talk about it while following melusine outside.
