gintoki’s hidden injury

ginhiji fanfic where hijikata asks gintoki to help him out on a job, but what he doesn’t know is that gintoki is still recovering from a recent injury (gunshot to the abdomen) and it’s still a bit hard for him to move around. gintoki doesn’t want hijikata to know about this though, so he accepts the job and hides his injury. he acts like his normal self, and hijikata doesn’t notice that anything is amiss. but throughout the job, his condition gets a bit worse, and nearing the end, he even starts developing a fever while his wound becomes more painful.
