Greg's pink predicament

Greg was driving around beach city in his van before he parks at the big donut parking lot. He readjusted a small photo of a young Steven and then exits his van. But as he was about to go inside the big donut he receives a call from his son. Steven asks his father if he could come over for a moment in which Greg agreed to. As he arrives at the front porch he sees Steven next to a pink pearl. Steven then sees his dad and motions him inside. Greg greets his son before staring at the pearl. Steven explains this was Pink Diamond's old pearl. Steven then asks if he could gem sit her for the time being. Steven explains he needed to handle errands with the diamonds in Homeworld which Greg nodded. As Steven left Greg stares at the pearl before greeting her being as polite as possible. Sizing her features especially the cracked left eye. Greg immediately expresses his concern and asks if she was alright with one eye. But she politely dismisses the concern and explains she was okay.
