Bit of back story: Effie coming to live in twelve after the rebellion was not part of the plan. Before Haymitch, Katniss and later Peeta went back to twelve she had promised to visit. And she did. And when she did she stayed with Haymitch. He pretended to hate it, but he secretly didn’t mind. After a while she started visiting more frequently, and for longer. Until one day she just didn’t leave. They never officially got together either, it all just happened. They hugged, kissed, touched. Just like any couple would. Current story: Effie had been living with him for a few months by now. They were curled up on the couch together, movie playing on screen. It was some capital romance flick Effie had been obsessed with since she was in high school. One thing led to another and they had sex. By the end of the night they ended up naked and exhausted, movie forgotten
