He’s got sky blue eyes, and his hair is messy and tousled in the best way, his hair is naturally always in waves that always look natural and effortlessly windswept. To the people that actually look at him properly, he always manages to look effortlessly cool. he's just quiet and shy, and gets overlooked because he wears glasses and fits the average nerd description, but he also has a heart made completely out of absolute gold, and is the absolute kindest, sweetest, funniest person ever once you get to know him. He remembers birthdays, listens to everyone patiently, and always manages to make at least one person smile without trying to. Similarly, Harry isn't your average popular kid. He has a lot of friends, but unlike them, is very quiet and thoughtful, and has a heart of absolute gold. He's always kind to everyone, and helping people out without being asked, and he's always fair to everyone. He tutors math to the first-years at their school, spends his weekends volunteering at a dog shelter for free out of his own free will, and carries extra granola bars with him for the kids that can’t afford lunch. Both Harry and Louis are openly gay, but don't really talk to each other, mostly circumstantially. What nobody knows is that Louis is head over heels in love with Harry, and Harry is equally head over heels in love with Louis. They both have been for years. They both love how kind and sweet the other person is, and both find each other very attractive. One day, out of pure luck, they are paired together for a school project. They both hold it together, but are inwardly very happy and thankful. When they meet up for the project, they get a lot done, but also learn more about each other. Harry learns how effortlessly hilarious Louis naturally is, and Louis learns just how smart Harry actually is. They have a blast working on the project and eventually become good friends, both in and out of school. They end up becoming best friends, and at some point, they discover a place that they call “their spot”. It’s a quiet hill with an incredibly beautiful view. Make sure that there is a distinct point for their confession. The confession happens months after they become friends, and it’s now closer to spring, and both of them have recently turned 18. For the confession, they are hanging out just the two of them at their spot at sunset when Louis, stuttering and nervous, admits his feelings for Harry, as he just can't take hiding it anymore, saying that he’s in love with Harry. Harry freezes, just processing everything, worrying Louis and making him get up and leave, completely heartbroken, with tears in his eyes. This causes Harry to snap out of it, and he runs after Louis, catching up to him thankfully quickly. He gently turns him around, and without a word, wordlessly kisses him softly and tenderly. Louis freezes for half a second before melting completely, grabbing Harry's hoodie with trembling hands, and kissing back with everything he has, while Harry's hands gently slide along his jaw, before dropping to hold his waist and pulling him somehow closer than they already were. When they finally pull away, Louis is completely stunned, and Harry has a soft smile on his face. They go to talk about what happened, including why Harry froze up, which he apologizes profusely for, and calls louis “sweetheart” at one point, making louis blush but not say anything.
