The Symphony of Ruin
The air in the master suite was thick with the scent of sweat, expensive cologne, and the metallic tang of adrenaline. It was a private sanctuary where the rules of the outside world ceased to exist, replaced by a primal, rhythmic violence that only the three of them understood.
Jisung was a blur of controlled motion, his powerful frame hovering over Seungmin. He was pounding Seungmin into the mattress with a relentless, punishing rhythm that made the heavy oak headboard thud rhythmically against the wall. The sound was a heartbeat, steady and violent. Seungmin’s head was thrown back, his throat exposed and covered in fresh, blooming marks, his fingers digging into the silk sheets as he let out loud, shattered moans that hitched with every impact.
While his lower body worked with a singular, driving purpose, Jisung was leaned over, his face buried in Minho’s. They were locked in a heated, desperate French kiss, their tongues tangling with a hunger that bordered on starvation. Jisung’s hand was buried between Minho’s legs, his fingers working with a frantic, expert speed that had Minho arching his back, his eyes blown wide and glazed with pleasure.
It was a chaotic, beautiful mess of limbs and breath, a closed circuit of sensory overload.
Suddenly, the heavy double doors to the bedroom were thrown open with a violent crash. The lock, which Jisung usually remembered to turn but had forgotten in his haste to get back to his lovers, gave way under a heavy shoulder.
Changbin and Felix burst into the room. Felix’s eyes went wide, his face turning a shade of crimson that rivaled the blood on Jisung’s hands from two days prior. He tried to look away, but the sheer intensity of the scene held him frozen. Changbin, however, didn't have the luxury of shock. His face was set in a grim mask of urgency, though he pointedly looked at the ceiling rather than the bed.
The trio didn't stop immediately. Jisung continued his assault on Seungmin for several more agonizing seconds, his fingers still buried deep within Minho, as if he were daring the intruders to stay and watch.
"Get out," Jisung growled against Minho’s lips, not yet pulling away. His voice was a subterranean rumble, vibrating with a lethal promise.
"Jisung, we don't have time for your territorial bullshit!" Changbin shouted, his voice strained over the sound of the headboard hitting the wall. "The Japanese delegates—Sato’s men. They didn't take the deal. They’re hitting the front gate now. They’ve got heavy ordinance, and they’ve already breached the courtyard."
Jisung finally pulled away from the kiss, a string of saliva connecting him to a dazed, panting Minho. He turned his head toward the door, his dark eyes snapping to Changbin. The jagged scar on his face seemed to pulse in the dim light, making his half-smirk look like a death mask.
"Are you fucking kidding me?" Jisung rasped. His voice was devoid of the pleasure from moments ago, replaced by a cold, sharp-edged fury. He looked at Changbin, then at the trembling Felix. "The rest of the members are fucking useless. You can’t hold a gate for ten minutes while I’m busy?"
"They brought mercenaries, Han!" Changbin snapped back. "Chan is pinned down in the surveillance room. Move your ass!"
Jisung let out a snarl, a sound that was more animal than human. He gave Seungmin three more rough, bone-deep pounds, causing the younger man to cry out and arch his back in a final, shuddering peak. Simultaneously, he gave Minho several quick, brutal thrusts of his fingers, forcing a choked sob of completion from the older man’s throat.
Yanking himself away, Jisung stood up in one fluid motion. He didn't care about his nakedness, his body a map of the night’s activities—scratches, bite marks, and the sheen of sweat. He grabbed a pair of black cargo shorts from the floor and stepped into them, not bothering with a shirt or shoes.
He walked to the far wall where his dual combat knives hung on a magnetic rack. The blades were custom-forged, black-coated steel that didn't reflect the light. He yanked them off the wall with a metallic *shink* that echoed through the room like a death knell.
He turned back to the bed. Seungmin was curled on his side, gasping for air, his chest heaving. Minho was sitting up, his hair a wild mess, his eyes slowly regaining their focus, though they were already beginning to sharpen with protective instinct.
"Stay here," Jisung commanded. It wasn't a suggestion. "Lock the door behind me. If anyone other than Chan or Changbin tries to walk through it, kill them."
"Jisungie," Minho started, his voice hoarse. "Let us—"
"I said stay," Jisung barked, his aura flaring with a terrifying, suffocating pressure. "I’m pissed. I’m going to finish this, and then I’m coming back to finish what I started with you two. Don't make me hunt you down because you got in my way."
He didn't wait for an answer. Jisung turned and stormed past Changbin and Felix, his presence so volatile that Felix stepped back until his spine hit the doorframe.
"Follow him if you want to live," Changbin muttered to Felix, drawing his own weapon. "But stay five paces back. He’s not distinguishing between friend and foe right now."
The descent into the lower levels of the mansion was a blur of gunfire and screaming. The Japanese mercenaries had managed to push into the grand foyer, their tactical gear and submachine guns giving them a temporary advantage over the mansion’s security.
Then Jisung arrived.
He didn't use a gun. To Jisung, a gun was too impersonal, too quick for the level of rage currently boiling in his veins. He entered the foyer from the grand staircase, leaping over the railing and landing in the center of a group of four mercenaries.
He was a whirlwind of silver and shadow.
The first man didn't even have time to raise his weapon before Jisung’s knife found the gap between his helmet and his vest, slicing through his carotid artery with surgical precision. Jisung didn't move away from the spray of blood; he stepped into it, his eyes wide and manic.
He moved with a sickening, fluid grace that defied physics. He didn't feel the grazes of the bullets that hissed past him, and when a stray round caught him in the shoulder, he didn't even flinch. He simply turned toward the shooter, his scarred face splitting into a wide, terrifying grin, and launched his left-hand knife. The blade buried itself to the hilt in the man’s eye socket.
"Is that all you’ve got?" Jisung screamed over the din of the battle. The sound was haunting, a high-pitched, melodic laugh that made the mercenaries hesitate.
That hesitation was their death sentence.
Jisung retrieved his knife from the corpse and continued his slaughter. He was a demon unleashed, a being of pure, unadulterated sadism. He didn't just kill; he dismantled. He hamstrung men and left them to crawl before finishing them. He used his bare hands to crush windpipes when his knives were busy elsewhere.
Felix, watching from the top of the stairs, felt the bile rise in his throat. He had seen violence before, but this was different. This was a man who found joy in the destruction of others, a man who truly felt nothing but the thrill of the kill.
In the center of the carnage stood Sato, the delegate from the meeting. He was trembling, held up by two of his remaining bodyguards. When his eyes met Jisung’s, he dropped his gun.
"Please!" Sato shrieked. "We can renegotiate! I’ll give you eighty percent! Ninety!"
Jisung walked toward him, his bare feet slapping against the blood-slicked marble floor. He was covered from head to toe in crimson, his chest heaving, the bullet wound in his shoulder weeping red down his arm. He looked like a god of war birthed from a nightmare.
"You interrupted my night," Jisung whispered, the sound carrying clearly through the now-silent room. "I was with the only two people in this world who make me feel like I’m not rotting from the inside out. And you took that from me for a few percentages?"
Jisung reached out, his bloody hand gripping Sato’s throat. He lifted the older man off the ground with a strength that shouldn't have been possible for his frame.
"I don't want your money, Sato-san," Jisung rasped, his face inches from the man’s. "I want you to feel what I feel. Nothing. Just the cold."
With a sudden, violent twist, Jisung snapped Sato’s neck. He dropped the body like it was trash and turned to the remaining bodyguards. They didn't even try to fight. They turned their guns on themselves rather than face what was coming.
Jisung stood in the middle of the morgue he had created, his breathing finally beginning to slow. He looked down at his blood-soaked hands and then at the wound in his shoulder. He poked a finger into the bullet hole, his expression curious, then bored.
"Clean this up," Jisung ordered the survivors of the Stray Kids security team, who were emerging from behind cover. He didn't look at Changbin or Felix as he walked back toward the stairs.
He climbed the steps with a steady, purposeful gait. By the time he reached the master suite, his rage had cooled into a simmering, dark heat.
He pushed the doors open. Minho and Seungmin were exactly where he had left them, though they had both pulled on silk robes. They stood up the moment he entered, their eyes scanning his body for damage.
"You’re bleeding," Seungmin said, his voice trembling with a mix of relief and fury. He rushed forward, his hands hovering over the bullet wound.
"I don't feel it," Jisung said, his voice returning to that deep, gravelly rasp. He dropped his knives on the floor, the metal clattering against the wood. "I told you I’d be back."
Minho walked up behind him, wrapping his arms around Jisung’s waist and pressing his face against the blood-stained skin of Jisung’s back. "You’re a mess, Jisungie. You’re covered in them."
"I’m covered in the reason we’re safe," Jisung countered. He turned in their arms, pulling them both into a tight, suffocating embrace. He buried his face in the crooks of their necks, breathing in the scent of them—the scent of home that the blood couldn't quite mask.
"Wash him," Minho whispered to Seungmin. "Then we finish what we started."
Seungmin nodded, leading Jisung toward the en-suite bathroom. They stripped him of his bloody shorts and stepped into the massive rainfall shower. As the warm water began to wash away the crimson stains, turning the floor of the shower into a swirling red pool, Jisung leaned his head against the tiles.
He watched as his boyfriends worked together to clean him. Their hands were gentle, their touches full of a reverence that bordered on worship. They cleaned the wound on his shoulder, they wiped the blood from his face, and they kissed the jagged scar that ran from his lip to his ear.
Jisung felt the numbness in his chest begin to recede, replaced by the familiar, grounding ache of devotion. He reached out, grabbing their wrists and pulling them close until the three of them were standing under the spray, their foreheads touching.
"I hate the world," Jisung whispered, his eyes closed.
"We know," Minho replied, his hands cupping Jisung’s face.
"But we love you," Seungmin added, leaning in to kiss the corner of Jisung’s mouth, right where the scar began.
Jisung opened his eyes, the dark, predatory light returning, but this time it was focused entirely on them. He picked Seungmin up, pinning him against the wet tile wall, while his other hand reached out to pull Minho into a bruising kiss.
The battle outside was over, the threat neutralized by a man who couldn't feel pain. But here, in the steam and the heat, Jisung felt everything. He felt the slide of their skin, the heat of their breath, and the absolute, terrifying certainty that as long as he had them, he would never truly be alone in the dark.
He began to move again, his rhythm more frantic and desperate than before, reclaiming his peace through the only language he knew—a symphony of ruin and rebirth, played out on the bodies of the only two people who knew how to love a monster.
