He walks directly up behind JJ, leans an elbow on the edge of the cutting board, and looms. > **Net:** "Those cuts are uneven." > **JJ:** (without pausing the knife) "Your face is uneven." > **Net:** "Look at that piece. It’s practically a whole scallion. What happened to your legendary craft discipline?" > **JJ:** (stops chopping, turns his head, and brandishes the flat of the chef’s knife like a warning paddle) "Net Siraphop. Step back two meters or I will garnish your lunch with your own front teeth." > Net doesn’t step back. Instead, he reaches around JJ’s hip with unhurried agility, pulls an open bottle of dark soy sauce from the overhead spice rack—without looking up at the shelf—and sets it right next to JJ’s hand. > Net smirks. "You forgot the sauce. You always forget the sauce." > JJ’s scowl deepens, but his hand closes over the bottle instantly. "Get out of my workspace." > Net ruffles the back of JJ’s hair on his way out of the kitchen, thoroughly messing up his part. JJ throws a stray scallion ring at his back. The bedroom lottery on Day 1 had been rigged by the producers. Everyone in the house knew it, the audience in the livestream chat knew it, and JJ had very nearly thrown the ceramic draw-bowl out the second-story window when his slip of paper came out matching Net’s.
"Room 2B," Tommy had read aloud, grinning like a demon. "Master suite. One king-sized mattress."
JJ had stared at the slip of paper as if it contained a personal hex from a Victorian witch. "There is another guest room with twin singles. Tutor and Yim can have the king."
"No way, P'JJ!" Yim had piped up cheerfully from the rug. "Tutor kicks in his sleep. We need separate beds or someone's getting a concussion."
"Net doesn't just kick," JJ had countered, his voice flat with despair. "He expands like expanding foam. He breathes like an industrial turbine."
"I have a delicate resting pulse, thank you very much," Net had chimed in, tossing his duffel bag onto his shoulder and slinging an arm heavily around JJ’s neck before JJ could dodge. "Come on, roomie. I’ll let you take the side away from the window so the morning sun doesn't ruin your delicate author complexion."
JJ had shoved Net’s bicep away with a groan, but he hadn't argued further.
He hadn't argued because they had been sharing the exact same arrangement for five years. The side away from the window was JJ’s side. It had always been JJ’s side, because JJ was prone to migraines if bright light hit his eyes before his nervous system booted up, and Net preferred sleeping near the cool draft.
The problem wasn't the bed. The problem was the discreet, glowing red lens of the wide-angle camera mounted directly above the headboard.

**[Day 2 • 07:58 ICT]** *Livestream Feed 02: Room 2B* *Status: Night Vision transitioning to Daylight Mode*
At precisely eight in the morning, the villa’s automated sound system chimed with a gentle synth-pop fanfare to signal the morning broadcast.
Under the grey duvet in Room 2B, a heap of blankets shifted.
The camera caught Net first. He was sprawled squarely across the center of the mattress, his face buried in a pillow, a bare, sculpted shoulder peeking above the sheet. His left arm was cast out sideways, his forearm resting firmly over the waist of the figure curled beside him.
JJ was pinned beneath Net’s arm like an unwilling hostage.
JJ blinked awake, groaned into his pillow, and blindly swung an elbow backward. It landed with a dull *thud* against Net’s ribs.
"Off," JJ croaked, his voice thick with sleep. "Net. Move."
Net didn't move. In fact, he groaned in protest, his arm tightening across JJ’s middle to pull him half an inch closer, burying his nose into the nape of JJ’s neck.
"Ten minutes," Net mumbled, completely incoherent. "Cold."
JJ reached down, grabbed Net’s thumb, and bent it backward until Net hissed and finally rolled away.
"You're a menace," JJ muttered, sitting up with his dark hair sticking out in three different directions. He reached out to the bedside table blindly, fingers sweeping across the glass surface.
Without opening his eyes, Net reached out from his side of the bed, picked up JJ’s wire-rimmed glasses from the lamp base where JJ had placed them the night before, and handed them to him handle-first.
JJ took them without looking, slid them onto his nose, and swung his legs out of bed.
"Your breath smells like garlic bread," JJ said, standing up.
"You made the garlic bread," Net murmured into the pillow.
"That doesn't excuse you breathing it on me."
JJ padded into the adjoining bathroom and shut the door.
Ten seconds later, the internet erupted.

JJ bent his thumb to get free (LMAO violence is his love language) BUT Net didn't even flinch like he was surprised. He just groaned like they do this every morning. > > 3. **THE GLASSES.** Net passed him the glasses without even looking up. By the afternoon of Day 2, the tension had migrated from the bedroom to the courtyard pool.
The afternoon challenge was an obstacle race involving giant inflatable floats, water guns, and general agency chaos. Net was in his element—shirtless in quick-drying swim trunks, radiant in the sunlight, radiating that natural athletic dominance that made directors scramble to put him in action sequences.
JJ, on the other hand, was stationed under a massive canvas umbrella by the poolside, wearing linen trousers, an ivory short-sleeved button-up, and a floppy bucket hat. He was serving as the official game master and scorekeeper.
"The rules are simple," JJ announced into his clip-on lapel mic, holding a waterproof clipboard. "You cross the lily pads, retrieve the token, and bring it back. Any pushing results in immediate disqualification."
Net, standing at the edge of the blue water, shaded his eyes and looked up at the referee’s chair.
"What if someone accidentally falls into someone else?" Net called out, grinning. "What if the water is too slippery, Game Master JJ?"
"Then I deduct points for criminal clumsiness," JJ replied deadpan. "Start the timer."
The game descended into absolute anarchy within forty seconds. Tommy slipped on the second float and splashed violently into the water; Jimmy tried to tackle Tutor and took them both down in a flurry of foam and chlorine.
Through it all, Net moved with infuriating ease, balancing across the floating pads like a cat, snagging the yellow token from the far side of the pool, and sprinting back toward the finish deck.
He hauled himself out of the water in one smooth motion, water dripping from his shoulders, chest heaving slightly. Instead of running to the designated drop box to log his time, Net marched straight up the wooden deck toward JJ’s shaded cabana.
"Hey!" JJ snapped, backing away half a step to protect his clipboard. "The drop box is behind you, you idiot. You're dripping all over the score sheet!"
"Confirm the token," Net demanded, leaning in close, his face glistening with water droplets. His chest was dangerously near JJ’s shoulder, radiating damp heat. "Look at it. It's the yellow one. Read the number."
"I can see it from here, Net, step back—"
JJ took a hasty step backward, his sandal catching on the raised lip of the sun lounger. His balance teetered violently, the clipboard flying out of his hands.
Net moved before JJ even finished gasping.
His wet hand shot out, long fingers clamping firmly around JJ’s left wrist, yanking him forward with effortless strength. At the same time, Net stepped into JJ’s space, his free arm hooking around JJ’s lower back to steady him, pulling him flush against his damp chest until JJ’s hands instinctively came up against Net’s bare shoulders to brace himself.
The clipboard clattered onto the wooden deck.
For three seconds, neither of them moved.
Net’s breathing was shallow from the race, his eyes locked entirely onto JJ’s face, assessing him with sharp, immediate focus. The teasing smirk was completely gone.
"You okay?" Net asked, his voice low, private, and entirely devoid of performance.
JJ swallowed, his fingers gripping Net’s wet skin just a fraction harder than necessary. "I'm fine. You're soaking wet."
"You tripped over your own feet, genius."
"Because you were crowding me."
"I was showing you the token."
"I have twenty-twenty vision with my glasses on, you show-off."
Net’s lips twitched, the warmth flooding back into his face. He didn't let go of JJ’s waist right away; his thumb casually smoothed over the fabric of JJ’s shirt, right over his hip bone, before he finally released him.
"Two minutes and twelve seconds," Net announced casually, turning toward the main house camera with that brilliant, blinding movie-star smile. "Put me on the leaderboard, Radchapon."
JJ bent down, picked up his clipboard, and used the wooden edge to firmly tap Net’s wet calf. "Two minutes and twelve seconds, plus a five-second penalty for assault on the game master."
"You love the assault!" Net laughed, diving backward into the pool with a massive splash that showered JJ’s canvas hat.
JJ wiped water droplets from his glasses, scowling with deep, theatrical irritation. But as he looked down at the clipboard to record the score, the faint flush rising up his throat had nothing to do with the midday heat.

> Okay, hear me out. > Everyone is laughing because Net splashed JJ right after, but can someone please rewatch the slow-mo of when JJ tripped? > Net didn't just catch him by the arm. He caught his wrist, pulled him in, and had his whole hand on JJ’s lower back within 0.4 seconds. That wasn't a comedic save. Net looked genuinely panicked for half a second. > And then the thumb! Did anyone see his thumb rub JJ’s hip through the shirt?! Friends don't do that. You don't steady your "industry rival" by petting his hip like a scared cat! > > *Top Comments:* > **@script_reader:** What gets me is JJ’s hands. When you trip and fall against a shirtless coworker, you pull your hands back or brace with flat palms. JJ gripped Net’s shoulders like he was used to holding onto him there. > **@velvetnet:** I've been watching Net for four years. He hates being touched when he's sweaty after workouts. But he literally dragged JJ against his wet chest without caring. > **@bldomestic:** "They bicker like Tom and Jerry" yeah okay but why does Tom look at Jerry like he wants to feed him warm soup and tuck him into bed? > **@neutral_fan:** Y'all overanalyze everything. They've known each other for five years. When you know someone that long, personal space just stops existing.

By Day 3, the chaotic energy of the house began to shift.
The initial shock of the sequester had worn off. The cast members were settling into the mundane reality of fourteen days without outside entertainment: laundry rotations, cleaning schedules, and the slow, rhythmic crawl of afternoon hours between scheduled activities.
At four in the afternoon, the living room was empty except for Jimmy and Tommy playing video games with muted volume on the sofa.
Out on the glass-enclosed terrace overlooking the garden, JJ sat in a low wicker armchair. His laptop was balanced on his knees, his fingers clicking steadily against the keys. He was completely lost in his world, surrounded by printouts of character charts and a half-eaten packet of sour gummy candies.
The glass slider slid open with a quiet hum.
Net stepped out onto the terrace. He wasn't performing for the cameras. He was wearing faded grey sweatpants and a black ribbed tank top, his hair pulled back with a plain black headband.
In his right hand, he carried a tall ceramic mug.
He didn't say a word. He walked across the terrace, dragged a low wooden stool over with his foot, and sat down right next to JJ’s chair.
JJ didn't pause his typing. He didn't look up. "If you're here to ask me how to spell 'phenomenon' again, the dictionary app is free on your phone."
"I know how to spell phenomenon," Net said calmly.
He reached out and set the mug down on the glass side table right beside JJ’s elbow.
It was oat milk, warmed, with exactly half a shot of espresso and two dashes of cinnamon. JJ’s afternoon drink. The exact ratio JJ drank when he was drafting third-act revisions and couldn't handle the acid of black coffee.
JJ’s fingers slowed on the keyboard. He glanced sideways at the mug, then up at Net.
Net didn't make a joke. He didn't drop a sarcastic comment about JJ’s handwriting or his bad posture. He just reached out, picked up a stray green gummy candy from the wrapper on JJ’s lap, and chewed it quietly.
"You've been hunched over like a gargoyle for three hours," Net said softly, his voice dropping into that deep, steady register that rarely carried to the directional mics overhead. "Drink it before it gets cold."
"I have two pages left in this sequence," JJ murmured.
"The pages can wait ten minutes."
JJ let out a slow breath, the sharp, defensive lines of his shoulders finally easing downward. He saved the document, closed the laptop screen half an inch to save battery, and picked up the mug. He took a sip, the cinnamon-flecked foam catching on his upper lip.
Net looked at him.
It was a look that lasted perhaps four seconds, but to anyone watching the terrace live feed, it was an eternity.
There was no smirk. No teasing spark. There was only a quiet, profoundly steady gravity in Net’s dark eyes—the look of a man watching something precious, entirely comfortable in the silence they shared.
Net raised his hand, his thumb reaching out to wipe the foam from the corner of JJ’s mouth.
JJ didn't swat his hand away. He didn't yell. He didn't brandish a binder or threaten homicide.
He just tilted his head slightly into the touch, his eyes fluttering shut for half a heartbeat in quiet surrender, before taking another sip from the mug.
"Good?" Net asked quietly.
"A little too much cinnamon," JJ lied softly.
"Ungrateful," Net murmured, but his lips curved into a soft, private smile as he leaned back against the terrace railing, content to simply sit beside him while the afternoon sun slipped through the glass.
Inside the production control room two miles away, three script supervisors stopped typing entirely.
Across the internet, the live chat on Feed 04, which normally moved at lightning speed with memes and jokes, stalled for five entire seconds.
Then, the first tweet appeared:
> **@archive_netjj:** ...Guys. That wasn't bickering. What was that?
