The Gilded Cage of the Center Stage

The stage lights of Mnet Countdown were blinding, a synthetic sun that burned away the shadows of the dressing room, but Stella could still feel the phantom weight of Martin’s hands on her hips. As the intro music for Hearts 2 Hearts began to thrum through the floorboards, she took her opening position. Her legs felt heavy, a dull, pulsing ache radiating from her core, yet she had never felt more electric. Every time she executed a sharp hip thrust or a fluid body roll, she was acutely aware of the man standing in the darkness of the stage wings.

He was there. She didn't need to look to know. Martin’s presence was a physical pressure, a tether that pulled at her soul. Every time she turned toward stage right, she caught the glint of his eyes—dark, predatory, and entirely satisfied. He wasn't just watching a performance; he was inspecting his property.

When the song ended and the lights dimmed, Stella stumbled off stage, her breath coming in jagged gasps. Before her groupmates could even hand her a water bottle, a firm hand gripped her elbow.

"Great job, Stella. You looked... inspired," Martin’s voice cut through the backstage chatter. He didn't wait for her response, steering her away from the cameras and toward the service elevator.

"Martin, let go, people are looking," she hissed, though her feet followed his lead with a terrifying lack of resistance.

"Let them look," he replied, his voice a low vibration. "They can see the sweat on your skin and the way you’re shaking, but they don’t know why. Only I know why."

He shoved her into the elevator and hit the button for the roof. As soon as the doors slid shut, he pinned her against the mirrored wall. The metal was cold against her heated skin, a sharp contrast to the furnace of his body pressing into her.

"You were looking at me during the bridge," he murmured, his nose grazing her jawline. "You were thinking about how it felt to have me inside you while you sang about heartbreak. It’s pathetic, isn’t it? How much you need me to feel alive?"

"I don't need you," Stella spat, though her hands were already bunching the fabric of his stage shirt. "I hate you. I hate what you do to me."

"Then tell me to stop," he challenged, his hand sliding down to the hem of her stage outfit—a tiny, sequined set that offered no protection. "Tell me to leave you alone and go back to that boy Minho. Tell me you didn't love the way I claimed you in that room."

Stella opened her mouth to lie, but the words died in her throat. Instead, a soft, broken sound escaped her as his fingers found the sensitive, bruised flesh of her inner thigh. "Daddy... please."

Martin’s eyes turned into black pits of desire. "There it is. That’s the only truth I care about."

He didn't take her to the roof. He stopped the elevator between floors, pulling the emergency brake with a violent jerk. The small space was suddenly silent, the only sound the frantic thudding of two hearts out of sync. He stripped her with a territorial hunger, his movements efficient and rough. He wanted her to feel the urgency, the sheer, unadulterated jealousy that was still simmering under his skin from seeing her with another man.

He hoisted her up, her legs locking around his waist automatically. The friction of her bare skin against his dress slacks made her whimper. He didn't waste time with gentleness. He entered her with a single, devastating thrust that made the elevator cables groan.

"Look at yourself, Stella," he commanded, forcing her head toward the mirrored walls. "Look at what you become when I touch you."

Stella’s reflection was unrecognizable. Her eyes were blown wide, her lips parted in a silent scream of ecstasy. She saw Martin behind her, his face a mask of primal dominance, his muscles straining as he drove himself into her. The sight was erotic and humiliating all at once.

"You’re so loud for me," he groaned, his pace becoming a frantic, rhythmic pounding. "Is this what you wanted? For me to break you in a box hanging in the air?"

"Yes," she sobbed, burying her face in his neck, her teeth grazing his collarbone. "More. Please, Daddy, more."

He obliged, his thrusts hitting her with the force of a hammer. Each impact sent a jolt of lightning through her spine, her internal muscles clenching around him so tightly it brought a hiss of pain and pleasure to his lips. He was relentless, driven by the need to erase every trace of anyone else from her mind. He wanted to be the only thing she felt, the only name she knew.

"You’re never going near him again," Martin growled, his voice dropping into that deep, authoritative register that made her knees turn to water. "If I see you smile at another man, I’ll take you right there on the floor in front of everyone. Do you understand me?"

"Yes, Daddy," she cried out, her climax beginning to roll over her in waves. "Only you. I’m yours. I’m yours."

He didn't stop until she was a sobbing, shaking mess in his arms. When he finally released his own seed, it was with a guttural roar that echoed in the cramped space. He held her there for a long time, the silence of the elevator shaft heavy with the scent of their shared obsession.

Eventually, he reached out and reset the elevator. As the car began to move again, he smoothed her hair and kissed her forehead, a gesture so tender it felt like a brand.

"Fix your makeup, princess," he said, his voice returning to its cool, professional calm. "We have an award to accept."

Stella leaned against the wall, her body aching and her heart racing. She looked at the man who had just dismantled her, now calmly adjusting his tie in the mirror. She knew this was a toxic, dangerous game. She knew they were dancing on the edge of a cliff.

But as the doors opened and the bright lights of the hallway spilled in, she felt a surge of dark triumph. Martin was jealous. Martin was possessed. And in the twisted logic of their rivalry, that meant she had won.

She followed him out, her gait slightly unsteady, a secret smile playing on her lips. The war wasn't over; it had simply moved to a higher altitude. And Stella was more than ready for the next drop.
