second chance romance where Dick has to grovel like an idiot. he messed up before he dated Kory (no Melissa is not a substitute OC for Barbara, he briefly dated her before Kory) snapping at her because he was confused about his feelings, saying of course any guy would leave her for a prettier more interesting girl, he regreted his words immediately and tried to apologize but she refused to let him touch her or let him speak, she refused to talk to him since then (she knows his secret identity so when he saves her as Robin/Nightwing she takes Cyborg's help or whoever is nearby instead) scene: a few months after the breakup, building on fire *her building* he tries to help her, she grabs Beast Boy's hand because hes also with Dick trying to help, instead playing the scared civilian instantly (this is when Teen titans were well still teens, also she and the other titans barely know eachother)
