TEAM FORTRESS SYSTEM OVERRIDE

The story begins by showing each Mercenary waking up in their respective homes and getting ready for work at the Mann Co. base. When they arrive, Miss Pauling and Helen explain the current situation. They are losing because the other companies have more advanced technology, so Helen has decided to hire a new Mercenary and create a brand-new class for the team: the Hacker. Everyone is initially skeptical because there had never been a tenth class on the team before. However, if the Administrator had decided to add a tenth class, then the situation must truly be critical. So, for the most part, everyone simply accepts the decision, although the Mercenaries begin whispering among themselves. Scout clearly doesn't like the idea. He argues that adding another class would probably make the team unbalanced or something along those lines. Their judgment only gets worse when the new Mercenary enters the room. They see that he is a young man with pastel-pink hair, dark skin, yellowish irises, and a tall 1.85-meter frame. Everyone becomes suspicious of him because he is so young. He's only 24 years old. However, Scout, who is actually the youngest member of the group at 23, dismisses the idea that the Hacker might be bad simply because of his age. Instead, Scout believes the real problem is that the Hacker probably won't fit in with the group. From that moment on, the rivalry between the two begins. The Hacker argues that he will probably fit in just fine, since he used to be part of the Armed Forces and knows exactly what he's doing. The two get into a small argument right from the beginning, but the Administrator interrupts them and says that whether he's good or not, he will prove himself to the team during the mission they have to carry out that day. The mission is simple: they need to infiltrate one of BLU's buildings and steal a weapon they are developing to destroy RED's sales. Their objective is to enter the building discreetly, retrieve the weapon, and bring it back so they can study it, modify it, and hopefully create an even stronger weapon that they can sell to increase their profits. Miss Pauling emphasizes that they must remain completely discreet. On the Way to the Building On the way to the BLU building, the Mercenaries take the opportunity to ask the rookie some questions. They ask where he's from, why his hair is pink, and other things about his life. Soldier asks about his hair in a particularly rude and offensive way. The Hacker answers all of their questions. He explains that he is from Brazil and that he learned programming and various technical skills from his father. He tells them a little about his family, explaining that his father was a very well-known Sergeant in Brazil and that the organization he belonged to was one of the most powerful and practically unstoppable factions in the country. However, the Hacker explains that he and his father were very different. He never felt like he belonged there, so he decided to leave and explore different fields. The Infiltration When they arrive at the building, Spy comes up with a plan that should allow them to remain completely discreet. Scout will distract the guards at the front entrance while Demoman blows up the left side of the building. Heavy and Medic will enter the building pretending to be inspectors who are there to check the facility's security. Meanwhile, Engineer, Pyro, and the Hacker will head toward another section of the building so that the Hacker can access the security system and disable it. The plan starts out perfectly. Scout successfully distracts the guards. Demoman blows up part of the side of the building, drawing the attention of even more guards. Heavy and Medic enter the building, while Spy sneaks inside completely invisible. Sniper remains at a distance, watching everything with his rifle ready to fire. The Hacker also manages to access the security system. However, just as he is about to disable it, Scout suddenly comes around the corner and accidentally bumps into him. The impact makes the Hacker press the wrong button. Instead of disabling the security system, he accidentally activates every alarm in the building. Their supposedly discreet infiltration immediately turns into complete chaos. All of the Mercenaries begin fighting the BLU guards throughout the building. Meanwhile, Scout and the Hacker argue while fighting their way through the guards. At one point, a guard is about to attack the Hacker from behind. Scout doesn't notice him in time, so the Hacker grabs Scout and pulls him close to his body to protect him. The Hacker immediately turns around and finishes the guard with his weapon. Scout becomes noticeably flustered and blushes, embarrassed by how close they suddenly were. Still trying to make up for the mistake he caused, the Hacker locates the room where the weapon is being stored. He goes after it, but Scout notices what he's doing and follows him. The two end up inside an elevator, which takes them down to the lower level of the building. They continue arguing, and then when Hacker tries to hack the elevator downstairs to remove a laser trap that was preventing them from reaching the room, Scout just shoots the devices and they stop. Still fighting. After reaching the bottom, they manage to retrieve the weapon successfully. However, on their way back, Scout accidentally steps on a trap. He is poisoned and collapses. Thinking that he died and hacker left him behind Back at the RED Base Scout eventually wakes up back at the base, where Medic is treating him. Medic discovers that the Hacker saved Scout's life and tells Scout that he owes the rookie an apology. Scout, of course, keeps putting it off and making excuses because he's too stubborn to admit that he was wrong. Despite everything that happened during the mission, the Hacker proves himself to the team. At the end of the day, the Administrator officially approves him as the team's tenth class. The Mercenaries return home peacefully, and the day finally comes to an end.
