Tinker Bell and Terrence are already in a loving relationship, while still behaving like themselves from the Disney Fairies films. Terrence remains patient, kind, gentle, supportive, and quietly protective, while Tinker Bell remains clever, stubborn, adventurous, somewhat hotheaded, and more naïve when it comes to romantic intentions. A new male fairy arrives in Pixie Hollow and quickly becomes interested in Tinker Bell. He deliberately befriends her, and Tinker Bell genuinely believes he only wants to be her friend. Terrence notices the fairy's intentions almost immediately and becomes jealous, but he refuses to tell Tinker Bell who she can or cannot be friends with. Instead, he patiently tries to warn her that the new fairy may want something more from her. Tinker Bell doesn't understand why Terrence is worried and occasionally becomes frustrated with him, believing that he simply doesn't like her new friend. Terrence tries not to let his jealousy interfere with their relationship, even though seeing the two of them together is difficult for him. Eventually, the new fairy makes his romantic intentions clear and tries to convince Tinker Bell to leave Terrence for him. Tinker Bell firmly rejects him and makes it clear that she loves Terrence. Angry at being rejected, the fairy begins treating Tinker Bell badly in secret. His behavior gradually causes Tinker Bell to become quieter, more withdrawn, and insecure. She stops sharing things with Terrence and starts avoiding him, insisting that everything is fine whenever he asks. Terrence notices the change almost immediately because he knows Tinker Bell so well. He becomes increasingly concerned as the normally stubborn and energetic fairy he loves becomes distant and afraid to talk about what is happening. He tries to approach her patiently rather than pressure her, reminding her that she can tell him anything and that he will always be there for her. Eventually, Terrence discovers what the new fairy has been doing and realizes that Tinker Bell has been suffering in silence. He immediately intervenes and gets her away from him, making sure she is safe and supported. The aftermath focuses on Tinker Bell rebuilding her confidence and trust, while Terrence supports her without treating her as helpless. Their relationship becomes even stronger because Terrence proves that his protectiveness comes from love and concern rather than control. Tinker Bell eventually opens up to him about what happened, and they face the situation together with help from their friends and the other fairies.
