The past he wishes to forget

One day in Homeworld, Steven searches through his bag and finds a mysterious tape that somehow wondered into his bag. He reads the bold letters out loud which says "do not play" normally Steven would respect that. But he couldn't help but be curious himself he walks over and plays the tape. It then began to play some images of his father when he was little. Steven was in awe of seeing a younger version of his father. But he remained unaware that two of the diamond's pearls were secretly watching him through the threshold wondering what he was doing before looking at the tape. As the tape presented a video of young Greg playing with his toys a loud booming male and female voice yelled out his full name before rushing in. And all that was heard were terrified cries of help. The tape turned off and Steven was left stunned and angry that his father endured all this without help. However the tape didn't end there It showed a teen Greg meeting rose/pink for the first time. Meanwhile for the first time the two pearls near the threshold were stunned seeing a human with a diamond even gaining her affection was a feat no human could ever do. But Steven slightly chuckles at this knowing his father's charisma and a custom name he made for himself for that charm
