Under The Sakura Tree

The Geometry of a Shattered Sun

The basement of the Uchiha manor did not smell like a dungeon. It smelled of expensive cedar, fresh linen, and the faint, haunting scent of orange blossoms—a fragrance Sasuke had meticulously curated to mimic the atmosphere of Naruto’s favorite park. The lighting was warm, honey-gold and soft, designed to prevent the harsh reality of captivity from setting in too quickly.

Sasuke sat in a velvet armchair at the foot of the bed, his hands folded neatly in his lap, watching the rise and fall of Naruto’s chest. He had been sitting there for six hours. He hadn't blinked more than necessary. He had memorized the way Naruto’s eyelashes cast long, jagged shadows against his tanned cheeks, and the way his lips parted slightly in his drug-induced slumber.

When Naruto finally stirred, the sound of the velvet-lined shackles clinking against the mahogany bedpost was the most beautiful music Sasuke had ever heard. It was the sound of certainty.

Naruto’s eyes fluttered open, unfocused and swimming with the remnants of the sedative. He groaned, his hand instinctively reaching for his forehead, only to be jerked back by the weight of the metal. He froze. The silence of the room seemed to amplify the frantic thudding of his heart.

"You’re awake," Sasuke said softly. His voice was a calm, melodic caress that made the hair on Naruto’s neck stand up. "I’ve prepared some miso ramen. I know it’s your favorite. I made sure the broth was exactly how Teuchi-san makes it."

Naruto’s head snapped toward the voice. He struggled to sit up, the chains rattling violently. His blue eyes, once the brightest thing in Sasuke’s world, were now wide with a visceral, primal terror.

"Sasuke?" Naruto’s voice was a cracked whisper. He looked at the shackles, then at the plush, windowless room, and finally at the boy he had once considered a distant, perfect classmate. "Where am I? What... what is this? Let me go! Unchain me right now!"

"I can't do that, Naruto," Sasuke replied, his expression one of serene, heartbreaking pity. He stood up and walked to the bedside, his movements fluid and graceful. "The world outside is dangerous. It’s full of people who want to take you away from me. People who don't understand your value. I’ve brought you here to protect you."

"Protect me?" Naruto shrieked, his body thrashing against the restraints. "You kidnapped me! You drugged me! My friends... where are my friends? Where’s Shikamaru? Where’s Gaara?"

Sasuke’s face darkened for a fraction of a second, the calm facade flickering like a dying candle. He sat on the edge of the bed, leaning in until his nose almost touched Naruto’s.

"They’re gone, Naruto," Sasuke whispered. "I cleared them away. I pruned the garden so only the Sun could grow. Do you want to know how? I’ll tell you everything. I want you to understand the depth of my devotion."

And then, he began to speak.

With a clinical, terrifying detachment, Sasuke recounted the last seven months. He told Naruto about the first time they spoke, and how he had spent the following week licking the hand Naruto had touched. He talked about the "Senpai Shrine" in the room above them, detailing the stolen toothbrushes, the half-eaten apples, and the underwear he inhaled every morning to ground himself.

He described the murders with the pride of an artist explaining his masterpieces. He told Naruto how Hinata’s blood had felt on his hands, how Sai had begged for Naruto’s safety before the knife went in, and how he had buried Gaara in concrete so that no one would ever find the boy who dared to ask Naruto to the festival.

"I did it all for you," Sasuke said, his eyes glowing with a manic, divine light. "Every drop of blood was a confession of love. I lusted for you so much it felt like my bones were melting. I watched you through the cameras, I followed you into your dreams, and I realized that fate was too slow. So I took over for fate."

Naruto was hyperventilating, his face pale and slick with cold sweat. He looked at Sasuke as if he were a monster from a nightmare, a creature made of obsidian and madness.

"You’re insane," Naruto sobbed, the tears finally breaking through. "You’re a murderer. I hate you! I wish I had never met you! I’d rather die than be here with you!"

The rejection hit Sasuke like a physical blow. The "Sanity" he had felt moments ago shattered, replaced by a roaring, jealous rage. He had given this boy everything. He had stained his soul for him.

"You hate me?" Sasuke’s voice rose to a snarl. "After I saved you from those parasites? After I made you the center of my universe?"

As Naruto spat a curse at him, Sasuke’s hand shot out. It was a reflex, a violent SNAP of his control. The slap was so hard it sent Naruto’s head reeling, his cheek instantly turning a bruised, angry purple.

Naruto collapsed back against the pillows, a small trail of blood leaking from the corner of his mouth. He didn't scream this time. He just stared at Sasuke with a hollow, broken disappointment that was worse than any scream.

The sight of the bruise—the mark of his own violence on his god—sent Sasuke into a tailspin. He fell to his knees, clutching Naruto’s chained hands and pressing them to his face.

"I’m sorry! I’m sorry, Naruto, please!" Sasuke wailed, his voice a pathetic, whimpering wreck. "I didn't mean it! It’s just... you don't understand! My love is so big it hurts! Please don't look at me like that! Say something! Hit me back, just don't stay silent!"

Naruto didn't say a word. He simply watched the ceiling, his spirit retreating into a dark, safe corner of his mind where Sasuke couldn't reach him.

The silence drove Sasuke over the edge. If he couldn't have Naruto’s heart through words, he would take his body as a down payment. He needed to mark him. He needed to know, once and for all, that Naruto belonged to him in every sense of the word.

"You won't talk to me?" Sasuke stood up, his eyes wide and glazed with a terrifying, lustful resolve. "Fine. Then I’ll make you scream my name for a different reason."

He climbed onto the bed, pinning Naruto’s legs down with his knees. He began to strip, his movements frantic and clumsy.

"Answer me, Naruto!" Sasuke demanded, his voice trembling. "Did you ever think about me? When you were alone in your room, did you ever imagine my hands on you? Did you ever fantasize about us? Tell me!"

Naruto remained silent, his eyes squeezed shut, his body trembling beneath Sasuke’s weight.

"Are you a virgin?" Sasuke hissed, his hand gripping Naruto’s chin, forcing him to look up. "Tell me no one else has had you. Tell me you’re pure for me."

When Naruto only let out a broken sob, Sasuke smirked—a dark, predatory expression. "I’ll find out for myself."

He tore away Naruto’s clothes, ignoring the boy’s weak, chained struggles. Sasuke’s lust was a tangible thing now, a suffocating heat that filled the room. He didn't use oil; he didn't use preparation. He wanted the friction. He wanted the pain to be the bridge between them.

He drove himself into Naruto with a single, brutal thrust.

Naruto’s eyes flew open, a high-pitched, agonizing scream tearing from his throat. The sound echoed off the soundproof walls, a jagged note of pure violation. Sasuke felt the resistance, the tight, unyielding heat of a body that had never known a man, and then the slick warmth of blood.

"You were," Sasuke gasped, his head falling into the crook of Naruto’s neck as he began to move with a rhythmic, punishing intensity. "You were waiting for me. You’re perfect. You’re so perfect, Naruto."

The sex was a nightmare of forced pleasure and absolute agony. Naruto’s screams eventually faded into hoarse, pathetic moans as his body, betrayed by its own biology, began to respond to the relentless friction. He was trapped between the metal of the chains and the muscle of his captor, his mind fracturing as the pleasure and the pain blurred into a single, overwhelming sensation.

"You’re mine," Sasuke chanted, his voice a low mantra against Naruto’s ear. "Only mine. No one else will ever touch you. I’ve taken your blood. I’ve taken your firsts. We’re soulmates, Naruto. Can you feel it?"

For two hours, Sasuke claimed his prize. He was a man possessed, driven by a hundred nights of masturbating to stolen photographs and a lifetime of emptiness. He came with a final, guttural shout, burying himself deep inside Naruto’s broken body.

As the adrenaline began to fade, Sasuke collapsed onto Naruto’s chest. He didn't pull away. He wrapped his arms around the boy, holding him with a gentle, terrifying tenderness, as if he hadn't just committed an act of supreme cruelty.

"There," Sasuke whispered, kissing the tears from Naruto’s eyes. "Now we’re one. You never need anyone else now. It’s only us. I’ll take care of you forever."

Naruto didn't respond. His blue eyes were dull, staring into the middle distance. The light of the sun was dimming, eclipsed by the shadow of the boy who loved him to death.

The next few days were a cycle of routine and terror. Sasuke would leave in the morning, attending the final days of school and his own graduation with the poise of a prince. He accepted his diploma, shook hands with the teachers, and stood for photographs, all while thinking of the boy chained in his basement.

Every evening, he would return to Naruto. He would bring him food, bathe him with expensive sponges, and read to him from books of poetry. When Naruto tried to escape—once by trying to pick the lock with a piece of wire he’d found, and another by trying to bolt past Sasuke when the door opened—the punishment was always the same.

Sasuke would not hit him again. Instead, he would use "love." He would chain Naruto to the bed and spend hours exploring his body, forcing him into a state of sensory overload until Naruto could no longer remember his own name, only the sensation of Sasuke’s mouth and hands.

Slowly, the resistance began to fade. Not because Naruto loved Sasuke, but because the human mind can only endure so much trauma before it seeks a way to survive. Naruto began to stop flinching when Sasuke entered the room. He began to eat the food without being prompted.

One night, as Sasuke held him after their nightly "session," Naruto didn't pull away. He leaned his head against Sasuke’s shoulder, his eyes glazed and hollow.

"That’s it, my sun," Sasuke whispered, stroking Naruto’s hair. "You’re finally realizing the truth. You belong here. With me."

Naruto didn't answer, but his hand twitching against Sasuke’s arm was enough. The Stockholm syndrome was a slow-growing vine, wrapping itself around the ruins of Naruto’s will.

Sasuke looked at the silver-framed photograph of them on the bedside table—the one he had taken while Naruto was drugged that first night. He smiled. The graduation was over. The world was gone. And in the silence of the Uchiha basement, the sun had finally learned to love the dark.
