The stepmother and stepsisters are going to a lavish ball, but the boy, naturally, is not allowed to attend because he has a lot of work to do. While the protagonist is working hard, the stepmother meets the host at the ball and soon marries him. The stepsisters soon also marry profitably. Now the protagonist is once again the rightful owner of the estate, which his stepmother and stepsisters had managed since his father's death. Now he can once again control his own life.
