Fifty Shades Of Jujutsu
The Velvet Threshold and the Shattered Mirror
The silence of the penthouse was not a peaceful one; it was heavy, pressurized like the air before a tectonic shift. Megumi stood by the floor-to-ceiling windows, his reflection ghosting over the rain-slicked lights of Tokyo. He had regained his prize, but the cost was a transparency he wasn't sure he could survive. Yuji was sitting on the edge of the sprawling, king-sized bed, wrapped in a black silk robe that belonged to Megumi. He looked fragile, yet there was a new, hardened clarity in his amber eyes that made Megumi’s chest ache with a mixture of adoration and terror.
"You promised," Yuji said, his voice cutting through the hum of the climate control. "No more secrets. No more 'protecting' me by keeping me in the dark."
Megumi turned, his silhouette sharp against the city. "I know. But some truths are meant to be buried, Yuji. Not for my sake, but because they serve no purpose other than to cause pain."
"That’s not for you to decide anymore," Yuji countered, standing up. The silk slid against his skin, a sound that usually sparked fire in Megumi’s veins, but now only brought a sense of impending judgment. "I met her, Megumi. One of them. She told me there were dozens. She told me you treated them like objects. Like tools to be used and discarded."
Megumi walked toward him, his steps silent. He stopped just inches away, the scent of Yuji’s skin—now mingled with the expensive oils from Megumi’s bath—filling his senses. "They were consenting adults who entered into a contract. They wanted a master, and I wanted... a distraction. I was looking for pieces of you in people who could never hope to match your light. It was a clinical, cold arrangement. There was no love. There was only the exercise of control."
"And what am I?" Yuji’s voice whispered, a tremor of fear underneath the defiance. "Am I just the one you decided to keep? The one you didn't have to pay to stay?"
Megumi’s hand shot out, gripping Yuji’s chin with a sudden, fierce intensity. It wasn't a violent gesture, but it was absolute. "You are the sun. You are the reason I bothered to build any of this. Do not ever compare yourself to those ghosts. I didn't want them to love me. I didn't care if they breathed as long as they obeyed. But you... I need you to breathe. I need you to want me."
He leaned in, his lips brushing against Yuji’s. "I want to show you the difference. I want you to feel what it means to be the center of my world, not just a submissive in my shadow."
Megumi’s mouth crashed onto Yuji’s, tasting of desperation and a hunger that had been suppressed for five long years. It was a dominant, claiming kiss, his tongue forcing its way past Yuji’s teeth to taste every inch of him. Yuji let out a muffled moan, his hands coming up to grip the lapels of Megumi’s obsidian-colored suit. The power dynamic was a tangible thing in the air, a thick, cloying heat that made Yuji’s knees buckle.
Megumi didn't let him fall. He scooped Yuji up, his arms like iron bands, and lowered him onto the bed. The silk robe fell open, revealing the marks Yuta had left—fading bruises that Megumi wanted to lick until they turned into his own brand.
"Megumi..." Yuji gasped, his head falling back into the pillows. "I'm still... I'm still angry at you."
"Then be angry," Megumi growled, his hands sliding up Yuji’s thighs, his thumbs pressing into the sensitive skin of his inner legs. "Hate me while I worship you. Scream at me while I mark you. But do not look away."
Megumi’s fingers found the tie of the robe and yanked it free. He didn't wait. He moved between Yuji’s legs, his eyes never leaving Yuji’s face. He wanted to see every flicker of emotion, every spark of lust that Yuji tried to hide behind his confusion. He began to kiss his way down Yuji’s chest, his teeth grazing over his collarbone, his tongue swirling around Yuji’s nipples until they were hard peaks.
Yuji’s breath was coming in ragged hitches now. He reached down, his fingers tangling in Megumi’s dark hair, pulling him closer. Despite the fear, despite the betrayal, his body was a traitor. It recognized Megumi’s touch as the only thing that could truly fill the void.
"Please," Yuji whispered, his hips arching off the bed.
"Please what, Yuji?" Megumi asked, his voice a low, vibrating friction against Yuji’s stomach. He looked up, his eyes dark with a predatory hunger. "Tell me what you want. Command me."
"I want... I want you to make me forget," Yuji sobbed, his eyes welling with tears. "Make me forget Yuta. Make me forget the girls. Just be mine. Only mine."
The words were a catalyst. Megumi stripped off his clothes with a frantic efficiency, his body lean and corded with muscle, a map of scars and power. He didn't use a condom; he wanted to feel every bit of Yuji, wanted to leave himself inside him so there was no room for anyone else.
He entered Yuji with a single, deep thrust that drew a sharp cry from Yuji’s throat. It was too much, too fast, but it was exactly what they both needed. Megumi froze, his muscles trembling as he held himself deep inside Yuji, waiting for him to adjust.
"You're so tight," Megumi hissed, his forehead resting against Yuji’s. "You’re perfect. You’re the only thing in this world that fits."
Yuji wrapped his legs around Megumi’s waist, pulling him deeper. "Don't stop. Don't ever stop."
Megumi began to move, a slow, grinding rhythm that was designed to maximize the friction between them. Every thrust was a declaration of ownership. He watched Yuji’s face as it contorted with pleasure, his eyes rolling back, his mouth hanging open as he chased the peak. Megumi reached down, his hand wrapping around Yuji’s length, stroking him in perfect synchronization with his thrusts.
"You're mine, Yuji," Megumi chanted, his voice a mantra of obsession. "Every breath, every drop of blood. I will kill anyone who tries to take this from me. I will burn the city to the ground before I let you go again."
The intensity peaked, a white-hot explosion of sensation that left them both shattered. Yuji cried out, his body convulsing as he came against Megumi’s stomach, while Megumi buried himself as deep as possible, his own release a violent, staggering wave that left him gasping for air.
They lay there for a long time, the only sound the rhythmic patter of the rain and their synchronized breathing. Megumi didn't pull away. He stayed heavy on top of Yuji, pinning him to the mattress, his face buried in Yuji’s neck.
"I'm not going anywhere," Yuji whispered, his hand stroking Megumi’s back. "But the world isn't going to let us be, is it?"
"No," Megumi said, his voice returning to its cold, corporate edge. "It’s not."
The chime of Megumi’s secure phone interrupted the silence. He ignored it at first, but it persisted, a rhythmic buzzing that spoke of an emergency. With a sigh of frustration, Megumi reached for the device on the nightstand.
The message was from Maki. It contained a single image: a warehouse in the shipping district, engulfed in blue flames. Cursed energy flames.
"Okkotsu isn't done," Megumi said, his eyes narrowing. "And he’s not alone."
"What do you mean?" Yuji asked, sitting up and pulling the robe back over his shoulders.
"The blue flames... that's not Yuta. That’s a signature I haven't seen in years. It’s Uraume. They’ve resurfaced, and it looks like they’ve made a deal with Kurusu and Okkotsu."
Yuji felt a chill that had nothing to do with the air conditioning. The remnants of the Heian era, the shadows of Sukuna’s legacy, were reaching out from the past to choke their present.
"They’re targeting the Zenin vaults," Megumi continued, already standing and pulling on a fresh shirt. "There are artifacts there that could restart the era of sorcery. If Yuta gets his hands on them, he won't just be a corporate rival. He’ll be a god."
"I'm coming with you," Yuji said, his voice firm.
"No. It’s too dangerous."
"Megumi!" Yuji grabbed his arm. "Stop trying to cage me! I was a sorcerer too. I died and came back more times than you can count. If you leave me here, I’ll just follow you anyway. At least this way, we’re together."
Megumi looked at him, seeing the warrior beneath the journalist. He leaned in and kissed Yuji hard. "Fine. But you stay behind my shadows. If I tell you to run, you run."

The warehouse district was a labyrinth of rusted metal and salt air. The blue fire didn't produce smoke; it produced a freezing mist that crystallized on the ground. Megumi and Yuji arrived in a black SUV, flanked by a squad of Zenin security who were more mercenaries than guards.
As they stepped out, the air vibrated with a familiar, sickening pressure.
"Fushiguro! You're late to your own funeral!"
Hana Kurusu stood atop a stack of shipping containers, her wings glowing with a sickly light. Beside her, Yuta Okkotsu held his katana, the blade humming with a dark, distorted energy. And behind them, a figure clad in white robes—Uraume—watched with a frozen, indifferent expression.
"You’re working with them, Okkotsu?" Megumi asked, his shadows beginning to pool and rise like ink in water. "You’ve fallen further than I thought."
"I’m doing what’s necessary to end your monopoly on power," Yuta said, his eyes fixed on Yuji. "Yuji, step away from him. This is your last chance to be free."
"I am free, Yuta!" Yuji shouted, stepping forward. "Free to choose the monster I want! And I don't choose the one who kidnaps my brothers!"
The battle erupted in a flash of light and shadow. Megumi’s Divine Dogs leaped from the darkness, tearing into the Zenin mercenaries who had turned traitor. Kurusu unleashed a barrage of light, but Megumi’s shadows rose like a shield, absorbing the impact.
Yuta moved like a blur, his sword clashing against the cursed tools Megumi had summoned from his shadow. The two men were a whirlwind of steel and intent, their rivalry finally boiling over into physical violence.
Yuji, meanwhile, found himself facing Uraume. The air around him dropped to sub-zero temperatures.
"The vessel," Uraume murmured, their voice like ice cracking. "You are a hollow shell of what you once were. A pity."
Uraume waved a hand, and a wall of jagged ice spikes shot toward Yuji. He didn't have his cursed energy back to its full potential, but his physical reflexes were still superhuman. He dove to the side, rolling and coming up with a discarded iron pipe.
"I'm not a vessel anymore!" Yuji yelled, swinging the pipe with enough force to shatter the next wave of ice. "I'm just a guy who’s had enough of people like you!"
As the battle raged, a third party made their presence known.
A massive, golden gate manifested in the middle of the warehouse. From it stepped a group of people Yuji hadn't seen in years. Choso, his wounds miraculously healed by Shoko Ieiri, led the charge, followed by Todo, who was clapping his hands with a manic grin.
"Did someone say 'Best Friend'?" Todo roared, swapping places with a mercenary and delivering a bone-shattering kick.
"Yuji!" Choso called out, his blood manipulation already forming into piercing blood. "We’re here!"
The arrival of the reinforcements turned the tide. Megumi managed to disarm Yuta, pinning him against a container with a swarm of shadow-toads. He held a black blade to Yuta’s throat.
"Give me one reason not to end this right now," Megumi hissed.
"Because if you do, the world will see you for what you really are," Yuta wheezed, a bloody smile on his face. "A murderer. Just like your father."
Megumi hesitated. He looked over at Yuji, who was standing back-to-back with Choso, fighting off the last of the mercenaries. He saw the light in Yuji’s eyes—the goodness that he had been so afraid of tainting.
He lowered the blade. "No. I’m not going to give you the satisfaction of making me the villain in your story. Get out of my city, Okkotsu. If I ever see you near Yuji again, I won't use a blade. I’ll make sure you simply... disappear."
Kurusu and Uraume, seeing the battle was lost, retreated into the blue mist, leaving a defeated Yuta behind.

Weeks later, the dust had settled. The Zenin vaults were secured, and the alliance between Yuta and the remnants of the past had been shattered.
Megumi and Yuji were back in the penthouse. They were sitting on the balcony, watching the sunrise over a quiet Tokyo. The scars of the battle were healing, but the emotional landscape had shifted.
"I want to do it," Yuji said suddenly. "The marriage. The papers. All of it."
Megumi looked at him, surprised. "I thought you said I was trying to buy you."
"You were," Yuji smiled, leaning his head on Megumi’s shoulder. "But I realized that if I own half of your empire, I can make sure you stay the man I love. I’ll be your conscience, Megumi. Even if I have to use a leash to do it."
Megumi laughed—a rare, genuine sound that made the shadows at his feet dance. He pulled a small, velvet box from his pocket. Inside was a ring made of black diamond and white gold.
"I think I’d like that," Megumi whispered, sliding the ring onto Yuji’s finger. "A leash held by you is the only one I’ll ever wear."
As the sun broke over the horizon, bathing the city in gold, the king and his heart sat together. The world was still dangerous, and the shadows were still long, but for the first time in five years, they weren't alone in the dark. They were the masters of their own gilded cage, and the door was wide open.
