Fifty Shades Of Jujutsu
The Altar of Obsidian and Ivory
The invitation was not a request; it was a decree. The Zenin-Fushiguro wedding was to be the event of the decade, a calculated display of power that hid a core of raw, bleeding obsession. Megumi had spared no expense, transforming a private island off the coast of Shizuoka into a fortress of white lilies and black marble. To the public, it was the union of a titan and his mysterious, golden-hearted consort. To the "team," it was a miracle they never thought they’d see.
In the bridal suite—a term Yuji still winced at—the air was thick with the scent of expensive hairspray and Nobara Kugisaki’s unrelenting energy.
"Stand still, Itadori! If I ruin the line of this suit because you’re fidgeting, I’ll resonance your ass into next week," Nobara barked, adjusting the lapel of Yuji’s white silk tuxedo. She looked stunning in a deep crimson gown, her eyes sharp as ever. "You look like a prince. A slightly nauseous prince, but a prince nonetheless."
Yuji caught his reflection in the floor-to-ceiling mirror. He looked different. The struggling journalist with the frayed hoodies was gone, replaced by a man who looked like he belonged at Megumi’s side. But his hands were trembling. "Nobara... is this real? Or am I just another part of the collection?"
Nobara softened, placing a hand on his shoulder. "He’s a freak, Yuji. We all know that. He’s possessive, he’s dark, and he probably has a GPS tracker in your shoes. But look at how he looks at you. You aren't a trophy. You’re his heartbeat. If you weren't there, he’d just be a shadow in an empty suit."
A knock at the door preceded Gojo Satoru, who sashayed in wearing a blindfold that sparkled with actual diamonds. Beside him, Suguru Geto looked on with an amused, weary smile.
"My favorite student is getting married!" Gojo chirped, throwing his arms around Yuji. "I told Megumi if he makes you cry today, I’ll hollow purple his private jet. Suguru promised to help."
"I promised no such thing, Satoru," Geto sighed, though he patted Yuji’s arm. "You’ve done the impossible, Yuji. You’ve given that boy a reason to be human. Just... try to keep him on a short leash, alright? The Zenin blood is volatile."
Across the estate, in a room that felt significantly colder, Megumi Fushiguro sat in silence. He was dressed in a traditional black montsuki haori hakama, the Zenin crest embroidered in subtle, shimmering thread. Maki stood behind him, sharpening a dagger out of habit.
"You look like you're going to a funeral, Megumi," Maki noted. "Lighten up. You won. You got the guy, you killed the rivals, and you own half of Japan."
"I haven't won until the vows are spoken," Megumi said, his voice a low vibration. "I can feel the shadows shifting. Okkotsu is gone, but the submissives... they’re still whispering. They think they can reach him."
"If anyone interrupts today, they won't leave the island," Maki promised, her eyes flashing. "Panda and Inumaki are patrolling the perimeter. Choso and Todo are basically acting as bouncers at the altar. Relax."
The ceremony was held at sunset. The altar was a slab of obsidian overlooking the crashing waves, lit by thousands of floating candles. As Yuji walked down the aisle, flanked by Choso and a weeping Todo, the world seemed to narrow down to the man waiting for him.
Megumi didn't blink. He watched Yuji with a hunger so profound it was almost visible, his shadows pooling at his feet like a restless sea. When Yuji finally reached him, Megumi took his hands, his grip so tight it was nearly bruising.
"You're here," Megumi whispered, his voice cracking.
"I'm here," Yuji replied, searching Megumi’s dark eyes. "And I'm staying."
The vows were a blur of tradition and hidden meanings. To the guests, they spoke of loyalty and partnership. To each other, they spoke of chains and freedom, of being the only two people left in a world of ghosts. When the priest declared them husbands, Megumi didn't wait. He pulled Yuji into a kiss that was less a celebration and more an assault—a desperate, open-mouthed claim that left Yuji breathless and the guests whispering.
The reception was a whirlwind of champagne and forced smiles for the cameras, but as soon as the clock struck midnight, Megumi whisked Yuji away to the master suite of the villa.
The door hadn't even latched before Megumi had Yuji pressed against it. The restraint he had shown all day snapped like a dry twig.
"Megumi—wait—" Yuji gasped, his hands lost in the folds of Megumi’s dark robes.
"No more waiting," Megumi hissed, his mouth finding the sensitive skin of Yuji’s neck. He bit down, hard enough to leave a mark that would last for days. "You’re mine. Legally, spiritually, physically. There is no part of you that doesn't belong to me now."
He hoisted Yuji up, Yuji’s legs instinctively wrapping around Megumi’s waist. The white tuxedo jacket was discarded on the floor, followed quickly by Megumi’s haori. They moved toward the bed—a massive, canopy-draped altar of their own—and Megumi dropped him onto the silk sheets.
The intimacy that followed was a violent, beautiful collision. Megumi was everywhere, his hands possessive and demanding, his mouth a constant fire against Yuji’s skin. He revisited every scar on Yuji’s body, his tongue tracing the history of their shared trauma before replacing it with the sting of new hickeys and bite marks.
"Look at me," Megumi commanded, pinning Yuji’s wrists above his head with one hand. His eyes were dark, the pupils blown wide. "Tell me who you belong to."
Yuji’s head thrashed against the pillows, his body arching under the onslaught of Megumi’s touch. The dominance was overwhelming, a familiar weight that Yuji had learned to crave even as it terrified him. "You... I’m yours, Megumi. Only yours."
Megumi entered him with a sharp, possessive thrust that drew a loud, broken cry from Yuji’s lips. It was rough, driven by the five years of yearning and the weeks of fear that had preceded this night. Megumi didn't hold back, his body moving with a rhythmic, punishing intensity that forced Yuji to focus on nothing but the sensation of being filled, being owned, being claimed.
"I’ll never let you go," Megumi groaned, his sweat dripping onto Yuji’s chest. "I’ll build a wall around this island. I’ll kill the sun if it bothers you. Just stay. Just be mine."
Yuji reached up, his fingers digging into the muscles of Megumi’s back, pulling him down for a bruising kiss. In the heat of the moment, the power play didn't feel like abuse; it felt like the only way they knew how to communicate the depth of their broken, beautiful love. They came together in a shattering crescendo, Yuji’s name a desperate prayer on Megumi’s lips.
Later, as the moonlight filtered through the sheer curtains, Yuji lay exhausted in the crook of Megumi’s arm. The marks on his skin were a map of Megumi’s insecurity, but for the first time, Yuji felt the weight of the ring on his finger and realized it wasn't a shackle. It was an anchor.
"Megumi?" Yuji whispered, his voice hoarse.
"Mm?"
"I saw the room. The new one. In the basement of this villa."
Megumi stiffened, his grip tightening. "Yuji..."
"It’s okay," Yuji said, turning to look at him. "I saw the chains. I saw the paintings. But I also saw the door doesn't have a lock on the inside. You’re learning."
Megumi buried his face in Yuji’s hair. "I’m trying. But the thought of you walking away... it makes the shadows want to eat me alive."
"Then let them eat me instead," Yuji joked weakly. "I’m pretty tough."
The peace lasted exactly three hours.
At 4:00 AM, the villa’s silent alarm vibrated against Megumi’s wrist. He was out of bed in a second, his shadows manifesting as sharp, jagged spears around the room. Yuji sat up, rubbing his eyes, the adrenaline of a former sorcerer kicking in.
"What is it?"
"Someone is inside the perimeter," Megumi said, his voice cold and professional. "Stay here."
"Not a chance," Yuji said, throwing on a robe.
They moved through the darkened villa, the air growing colder with every step. In the grand foyer, standing amidst the shattered remains of a floral arrangement, was a woman. She was pale, her eyes hollow, and she was holding a vial of dark, bubbling liquid.
"Master," she whispered, her gaze fixed on Megumi. She was one of the submissives Yuji had met before—the one who had tried to warn him. "You didn't invite us to the wedding. We felt so... neglected."
"Tsumiki?" Megumi froze. No, it wasn't his sister, but the resemblance was haunting, a cruel mockery orchestrated by someone who knew his history.
"She’s under a curse," a voice echoed from the shadows.
Hana Kurusu stepped out, her wings tattered but her expression full of spite. Behind her, a group of five other women—all former submissives of Megumi’s—stood in a semi-circle. They weren't there to fight; they were there as a testament to Megumi’s sins.
"You think a ring makes you a new man, Fushiguro?" Kurusu laughed. "You think you can just erase the lives you used? These women have no purpose without you. You broke them, shaped them to your will, and then threw them away for a 'sunlight' that will eventually burn you."
"Megumi, don't," Yuji warned, seeing the shadows around Megumi beginning to spiral out of control.
"He can't help it," Kurusu said, stepping closer. "Tell them, Megumi. Tell Yuji why you really kept them. It wasn't just to 'forget' him. It was because you liked the feeling of someone being unable to breathe without your permission. You’re a monster, and monsters always return to their nature."
One of the women stepped forward, her hand trembling as she reached toward Megumi. "Master... please. Take me back. I don't know how to be a person anymore."
Megumi looked at the woman, and for a moment, the cold CEO mask shattered. He saw the wreckage of his own selfishness. He saw the lives he had treated as disposable in his quest to numb the pain of losing Yuji.
"I can't," Megumi rasped. "I’m not that man anymore."
"Then you’re nothing!" the woman shrieked, smashing the vial on the floor.
A cloud of toxic, cursed vapor erupted. Megumi acted instantly, summoning *Nue* to blow the gas away, but the distraction was enough. Kurusu lunged for Yuji, a shard of light in her hand.
"If he can't have his perfection, he’ll have nothing!"
Yuji didn't flinch. He met Kurusu’s charge with a focused strike to her core, his physical strength still immense. He disarmed her in a second, pinning her to the marble floor.
"Enough!" Yuji roared, his voice echoing through the hall. "Megumi is a mess. He’s obsessive, he’s controlling, and he’s done things I’ll probably never fully forgive. But he’s trying! And you... you’re just using these women’s pain to get revenge for your own bruised ego!"
The "team" arrived then—Maki and Inumaki bursting through the side doors, followed by a very sleepy but very dangerous Gojo.
"Oh, look, party crashers," Gojo said, his blindfold tilted. "Suguru, deal with the gas. Maki, take the girls to Shoko. They need treatment, not a Master."
The conflict was de-escalated with the clinical efficiency of former Grade 1 sorcerers. Kurusu was taken into custody by the Zenin private police, and the women were led away to a rehabilitation facility Megumi had secretly been funding for months—a fact he hadn't told Yuji.
As the sun began to rise over the ocean, the foyer was empty again. Megumi stood in the center of the room, his shoulders slumped.
"You knew," Megumi said, looking at Yuji. "You knew I was still trying to fix what I broke."
"I suspected," Yuji said, walking over and taking Megumi’s hand. "You’re a lot of things, Megumi, but you aren't heartless. You just didn't know how to use your heart until now."
Megumi pulled Yuji into a tight, shaking embrace. "I’m sorry. For all of it. The Red Room, the girls, the way I treated you in public. I thought if I was hard enough, the world couldn't hurt us."
"The world is always going to try to hurt us," Yuji said, pulling back to look him in the eye. "But we’re the Zenin-Fushiguros now. We’ve got the strongest sorcerer in the world as an uncle, a world-class model as a best friend, and a whole lot of money. I think we’ll be okay."
Megumi leaned in, his forehead resting against Yuji’s. The darkness was still there—the possessiveness, the lust, the need for control—but it was no longer a cage. It was the foundation.
"I want to go back to bed," Megumi whispered. "And this time, I want to be the one who listens."
Yuji smiled, that radiant, oblivious, beautiful smile that had started it all. "Okay. But I’m picking the movie."
"We aren't watching a movie, Yuji."
"Oh? And what are we doing?"
Megumi’s eyes darkened with that familiar, predatory heat as he swept Yuji up into his arms. "I’m going to remind you why you married a monster."
In the quiet of the morning, as the waves washed away the traces of the night’s battle, the two of them disappeared back into their gilded world. There would be more conflicts, more ghosts from the past, and more moments where the shadows threatened to overwhelm the light. But as the door to the master suite clicked shut, one thing was certain: the era of sorcery might have ended, but the era of Megumi and Yuji was only just beginning. And heaven help anyone who tried to stand in their way.
