Finally

The Weight of Unspoken Vows

The silence of the penthouse was no longer the silence of a sanctuary; it was the heavy, ionized air before a storm. Net didn’t let go of JJ’s waist as he guided him deeper into the apartment, away from the floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked a city currently dissecting their lives. The adrenaline of the confrontation in the car and the raw admission of their shared history had left a jagged edge in the room.

JJ was trembling, a fine, constant vibration that Net could feel through the thin fabric of the borrowed T-shirt. The younger man’s eyes were wide, darting toward the door as if he expected the CEO or a legion of reporters to burst through the mahogany.

"They’re going to find out," JJ whispered, his voice hitching. "They’re going to realize we just made it all up today, and then—"

"It doesn't matter," Net interrupted, his voice dropping into a register that was dark and commanding. He backed JJ up until the younger man’s calves hit the edge of the velvet sofa. "Look at me, JJ. Forget the statement. Forget the agency. You said you’ve wanted this for six years. Was that a lie?"

JJ shook his head frantically. "No, but P’Net, the timing—"

"The timing is perfect," Net said, his eyes narrowing. There was a predatory shift in his posture, the 'Golden Boy' mask discarded for something far more primal. He was tired of being the protector, the distant observer. He wanted the reality of the boy he had idolized from afar. "You’re here. I’m here. And for the first time, no one is watching."

Net leaned in, his hands sliding from JJ’s shoulders to his neck, his thumbs tilting JJ’s head back. The kiss wasn't a question; it was a claim. It tasted of the whiskey JJ had drunk the night before and the desperation of a decade’s worth of silence. JJ let out a muffled whimper, his hands clutching at Net’s wrists, his posture uncertain, caught between a deep-seated fear of consequences and a terrifying, burgeoning hope.

"P'Net, wait," JJ gasped against Net’s lips, his breath coming in shallow bursts. "We shouldn't... not like this. I’m scared."

Net didn't pull away. He pressed his body closer, forcing JJ to feel the hard, uncompromising line of his desire. "Don't be scared of me. Be scared of how long we’ve wasted. You said you’d choose me. Choose me now."

It was a coercion born of shared desperation. Net didn't wait for a verbal answer; he took JJ’s silence as a surrender. He pushed JJ down onto the sofa, his hands moving with a frantic urgency that bordered on rough. He felt JJ’s pulse jumping under his fingertips, a frantic rhythm of overstimulation. The younger man was overwhelmed, his senses already frayed by the day’s trauma, but Net was past the point of restraint.

He stripped JJ with a ruthless efficiency, his eyes devouring the pale, lithe body he had only ever seen in grainy practice videos or from across crowded rooms. When he pushed himself inside JJ for the first time, it was a blunt, forceful entry that drew a sharp cry from the younger man’s throat.

"P'Net!" JJ’s fingers dug into the velvet, his back arching. It was too much, too fast. His mind was spinning with the illegality of the moment, the dubious nature of a consent given under the shadow of a career-ending scandal.

"Stay with me," Net groaned, his face buried in the crook of JJ’s neck. He moved with a punishing rhythm, his body seeking a release for six years of repressed longing. He flipped JJ over, pinning him facedown against the cushions, his hands gripping JJ’s hips with enough force to leave bruises.

The overstimulation was absolute. JJ’s muffled sobs turned into fractured moans as Net drove into him again and again. It was a sensory overload—the smell of Net’s expensive cologne, the friction of the silk sofa, the relentless, heavy weight of the man he had loved in secret. Net moved them to the floor, then eventually to the bed, his hunger seemingly bottomless. He moved JJ into a deep squat, his hands holding JJ’s thighs open, watching the way JJ’s face crumpled in a mix of pleasure and overwhelming emotional exhaustion.

Each round was more intense than the last, a frantic attempt to bridge the gap of all the years they had spent as strangers. Net was relentless, his movements bordering on aggressive as he reclaimed every inch of the man he had watched from the shadows. JJ was a mess of tears and sweat, his voice gone hoarse from crying out Net’s name, his body twitching with every new touch.

Finally, as the moon rose high over the city, the storm broke. Net collapsed against JJ’s back, his chest heaving, his forehead resting against the damp skin of JJ’s shoulder. The silence returned, but it was different now—heavy with the scent of sex and the reality of what they had done.

The urgency left Net’s body as quickly as it had arrived, replaced by a crushing wave of guilt as he felt JJ’s shoulders shake with quiet, rhythmic sobs.

Net shifted, pulling out and immediately rolling JJ over. The younger man looked broken, his eyes red and swollen, his skin flushed and sensitive to the touch. He wouldn't look at Net, his gaze fixed on the ceiling as he tried to catch his breath.

"JJ," Net whispered, his voice cracking. "Hey. Look at me."

JJ flinched when Net reached out to touch his cheek. The rejection stung worse than any tabloid headline ever could.

"I’m sorry," Net said, his voice thick with genuine horror at his own intensity. "I... I lost control. I was so afraid you were going to disappear again. I didn't mean to hurt you."

He pulled JJ into his arms, not with the heat of a lover, but with the desperate tenderness of a man trying to mend something he had shattered. He dragged the heavy duvet over them, cocooning JJ against his chest.

JJ didn't fight him, but he remained stiff, his breath coming in shuddering hitches. "Is this... is this what we are now? A lie for the cameras and this in private?"

Net tilted JJ’s face up, forcing him to see the raw, aching sincerity in his eyes. "No. Never. I was a fool, JJ. I was trying to make up for six years in one night, and I scared you. I’m so sorry."

He began to kiss JJ’s face—his forehead, his eyelids, the tip of his nose—with a slow, grounding reverence. He grabbed a damp cloth from the ensuite and began to clean JJ’s body, his movements incredibly gentle, his touch a silent apology for the roughness of the hours before.

"I’m still scared," JJ admitted, his voice a mere thread of sound. "I’m scared that when I wake up, you’ll be the 'Golden Boy' again and I’ll be the 'Stranger.' I’m scared that this was just... a release for you."

Net stopped his movements, dropping the cloth and taking both of JJ’s hands in his. He kissed his knuckles, one by one.

"Listen to me," Net said, his voice a low, steady vow. "The world thinks we’re together because of a PR stunt. Let them. But in this room, there is no Net Siraphop. There is no JJ. There is just us. I have loved you since that stairwell, and I will be here every morning to prove it to you. I’m not going anywhere. I’m done being a ghost."

JJ finally looked at him, the fear in his eyes beginning to recede, replaced by a fragile, tentative peace. He leaned his head against Net’s chest, listening to the steady, honest thud of the older man’s heart.

"You’re really staying?"

"I’m staying," Net promised, pulling the covers tighter around them. "Close your eyes, JJ. The internet can burn. We’re safe here."

As JJ finally drifted into a deep, exhausted sleep, Net stayed awake, watching the rise and fall of JJ’s chest. He picked up his phone, seeing the thousands of notifications, the chaos, and the firestorm they had ignited. He didn't open a single one. Instead, he opened his notes app and deleted the years of secret observations, the unsent messages, and the lonely drafts.

He didn't need them anymore. The stranger was gone, and for the first time in six years, Net Siraphop was exactly where he was meant to be.
